I ran out of AV Blue yesterday so while I was grocery shopping today I decided to get some. It was over $5.00 a bottle. So I picked up the house brand clone instead, "Arctic Blue" for $2.50. It's pretty darn close, but it seems to me there is a difference. It doesn't seem to have as much bite as AV. Probably all in my head; its probably just rebranded AV. Anyway, wish I hadn't been so cheap and bought the AV. "There's something about an Arctic Blue man" ??

The artic blue does not have the menthol I think. Dollar general sells the swan brand you might like. I find it very close to AV ice blue.

Yes, the Swan Arctic Blue is definitely missing the menthol of the original AV. However, there's something about the scent of it that I actually PREFER to AV.
Swan Arctic Blue as well as the Arctic Blue that you find under the house label at CVS, Kroger's, etc. is made by Vi-Jon.

The Swan brand does have the Menthol. I use it for travel. The one I have at home called artic blue came from a Dollar Tree and does not. But I love the scent.
The Swan brand is a close match for AV Ice Blue. I enjoy using it a lot.
Just as an aside the house brand Old Spice is a nice knock off too. Not the exact scent, but veddy nice.
