...(probably from a Gem Elite Junior). Correct. I have a Damaskeene that arrived with that mismatched handle, and I left it that way because it's more comfortable (and I believe more attractive).

I was simply affirming @flinstone 's statement about the identity of his handle as well.

11/03/2020 WILLIAMS WEDNESDAYPre: Sainsbury's Luxury Soap, Bergamot & Nectarine Brush: Jayaruh #355 Maggards Knot Soap: Williams Mug Shaving SoapRazor: Ever Ready 1912 Bathroom set for the 1951 Festival of Britain Blade: GEM PTFE S/S (3) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Homemade Witch Hazel Balm: Bart's Balm Amber and Moroccan Jasmine Balm & Lotion Aftershave: Williams Aqua Velva MuskI store this razor in the metal case so i am not wearing out the cardboard box and plastic holder. She is on her 7th outing since leaving the Factory. Another nice 2 pass shave with this old girl. A nice face Lather from the Jayaruh #355 and the Williams. Finishing off with a Barts Balm face Massage and a splash of Williams Aqua Velva Musk, Very nice. Enjoy your Day All UPDATE. It was correctly pointed out that i had ID'd the Razor in my SOTD incorrectly by a very helpful forum member, after a bit confusion and trolling through old pics and receipts of my Purchases, it seems i mixed the razors up and put the Peerless Deluxe with the bathroom set box and the Round Handled bathroom set razor in the deluxe box. what a plonker.

Sotd3 3/10/20 Williams shave, aqua velva, lady eversharp, new chick blade, Turkish bowl, horsehair brush. Good shave Williams performed well of course. Although I've noticed the horse hair doesn't seem to load as much soap my other brushes so I had to go back to the puck. Bbs no irritation. First use of the lady eversharp with hydromagic. Pics of its cleanup attached. It seemed less aggressive than my Schick g. Great grip on the handle though. Still got a nice shave. www.flickr.com/photos/187068272@N03/49648919958/in/album-72157713452430922/

Today's William Wednesday shave. Williams, British Sterling cologne, witch hazel, lady eversharp, chick blade second use and horse hair brush. Great shave. Horse hair brush still hasn't lost its smell. Seems like it has relapsed some. So I cleaned it with some vinegar then rinsed and washed with antibacterial soap. I let it sit for a few minutes then rinsed. Now it's got a lather of deodorizing pet shampoo sitting in it. Finally I'll let some conditioner soak in for a while. This is somewhere from 8 to 10 shave soap lathers on it. www.flickr.com/photos/187068272@N03/albums/72157713454061043

12/03/2020 Pre: Sainsbury's Luxury Soap, Bergamot & Nectarine Brush: Vintage Butterscotch Culmak Plus 1950 Soap: Vintage GIBBS 1950's Razor: Kampfe Star #2 Blade: GEM PTFE (9) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Neroli and Orange infused Witch Hazel Balm: Bart's Balm Lavender Balm & Lotion Aftershave: Copycat Bleu My first go at boxing a razor, The original box is past its best so i ordered a personalized box from Amazon, lined it with memory foam and felt, The box is a bit big so i may re-jig it to take a box of blades. I covered it in a couple of coats of wax and buffed it in. Still a way to go but nice to tinker about. I took the corners off the blade using some emery tape laid flat on the bench and completing a few strokes back and forth then made sure it was central in the cradle. The circa 1950's soap and brush performed very well and gave me a bowl of lovely slick, lightly scent loveliness, more than enough for the 2 passes and buffing pass required for a DFS+ result. The Barts Balm doing its thing finishing off with a splash of copycat Bleu. I really enjoyed that, a very involving shave leaving me feeling and smelling really good. Enjoy your day All
