wooden handle gem jr bar- on the bay for $10 if i recall correctly... The only thing more aggressive would be a large shard of glass.
ER- date sounds good.... Found on bay I think... under $10
Scalpel was a toss in , with a Gillette single ring... on the bay. Truth be told, I bought the lot for the scalpel. The lot was 12 bux i think? I would give plenty, to hear the stories a battlefield scalpel could tell..........

Willyb - If you would like to move that shard of glass along I would be more than happy to give it a birth in my den!!
The Gillette knives are pretty neat items. I had found in some reading I don't recall that they were made as early as the teen years at the turn of the last century and were sold as general knives to have around in offices - a stationary knife. Sort of the early box cutter.

on another forum, someone mentioned that it might in fact be a letter opener and not a surgical tool.. I can see why but my only question would be, why make a letter opener so DEADLY sharp. I am not kidding when i say, this thing is lethal. Removing a finger with it would be a breeze. I should have taken the pic with its black plastic cap that covers the blade.

It looks like a scalpel to me.
WB, folks are always trying to piss on other folks parades. You know what it is, same as we do, give 'em the one finger salute and pay them no attention whatsoever.

Actually, these knives have been around for well over one hundred years and there are advertisements out there, so there may be a few of us the OP would need to salute.
