I've been enjoying my return to the 1912 Junior. The shaves have been nice and close.

My first shave with my newly acquired Clog Pruf. My first impression is that it is a more gentle shaver than the OCMM it felt much more like the Flying Wing/Bullet Tip but it is a more efficient shaver then that. Although it is much too early to say, this model could end up as my favourite of the three Micromatics. I'd say that the Clog Pruf is my overall favorite too.

Greetings
Saturday 22nd September 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Flying Wing Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Vie Long 13061M Horse Soap: Cella Aftershave: RSC Balm
Just for the hell of it I started out with a vintage 'The Barber Blade, Aurora Illinois' an old unopened carbon blade from I guess about the late 30's era that came with one of my recently purchased razors, it was dire! I stropped it 100 times on my Ever Ready stropper and the result.........no different at all; no worse, no better! So far my success rate with stropping SE blades has been 0%.
Finished off with a modern GEM stainless coated and no problems at all lovely shave.
Regards Dick.

Gem 1912 Junior Gem SS/PFTE Blade (6) Turkish Horsehair #6 Brush Arko Shave Stick Pereja Turkish Lemon Cologne
I went for the full Turkish shaving experience this morning with the horsehair brush, Arko, and finishing off with the Pereja Lemon Cologne. The brush is breaking in nicely; I got the best lather to date with it today. The lemon cologne with its high alcohol content was very refreshing - and with surprisingly little burn (but I didn't use much of it). I know that the cologne is not really intended as an aftershave but I've heard of others that have used it this way and I think it could work for me as well.

Gem 1912 Junior Gem SS/PFTE Blade (7) Turkish Horsehair #6 Brush Arko Shave Stick Pereja Turkish Lemon Cologne
This was a repeat of yesterday's Turkish shaving experience with the same great results. I used a bit more of the lemon cologne today as it seemed to fade pretty quickly yesterday. Once again, I got no appreciable burn, just a pleasant refreshed sensation. The scent is a little more complex than straight-up lemon but I can't put my finger on it. Whatever it is, I'm enjoying it.

I haven't used my Clog-Pruf for a while since my Bullet tip is the "new" kid on the block. Time to bring back the CP. I would have a hard time choosing a favorite of those 2, but both would be in my top 5 list.

Saturday
Gem Contour II Treet D-2 VDH Boar Williams WH English Leather
The Contour is a super mild razor. I had forgotten that about it. I did get a good shave but not what I normally get.
Sunday
Ever Ready 1914 Treet D-3 Omega Travel Boar VDH Deluxe WH Pinaud Musk AS
Very much enjoyed this shave. Everything worked great. Gotta love it when a plan comes together.
