Greetings Having just studied Shadows Dad's excellent review of different models of VAS razors the model I have is very similar to the US model VC2 it would seem that the only differences are the projections on the blade cover that have been punched through from the outside to align the blade. The model I have has four whereas the US VC 2 model has two. The handle is also cosmetically slightly different. I have discovered that the model number of many of the British VAS razors was printed on a card slip over sleeve covering the razors box and 99% of these are of course missing. Regards Dick.

Beautiful razor Dick. I bet it shaves as good as it looks.

Beautiful razor Dick. I bet it shaves as good as it looks. Greetings Thanks Fuzzy it did give a great shave which I put down to the Feather blade to a large extent, having had my appetite whetted I would like to pick up one of the early models that will take a modified standard SE blade. The feather blades are superb but expensive and very short lived. I must admit that there are a lot more different models than I realised, especially when you consider the U.S. Brit. and Canadian ones and when looking at photos on e-bay it's not easy to tell which model is being sold. I am finding it all a bit confusing to say the least! Regards Dick.

I know what you mean. I often can not tell them apart on the bay.
