If any of you MM lovers ( i am not part of said group) wants MM blades, from the 50s, I have plenty. They are brand new and I wont charge extra for the wonderful thick orange patina they have aquired over the last 50+ years. Some call it rust, I call it patina......

Yes Marc, I think you nailed it... easy to use, excellent performer and boring. Of course that assumes one can use a fairly aggressive razor. :-) I read of lots of folks who find the razor quite interesting, and then decide they don't want any more bloodletting. Yeah, I know that surprises me too. I don't think I could cut myself with one unless I really put my mind to it. Or so it seems. The only down side I can find for the OCMM is that it's simple straight forward "on or off" black or white highly efficient performance doesn't give me quite the same zone of "shades of gray" to operate in that I get out of razors with convex blade covers like the Streamline,ER 1914 or (although not so much a favorite for me) the Damaskeene. Not a big deal but in an only one razor for the rest of my life scenario I'd be looking for a responsive razor that I can finesse sensitive areas with during times when I get too much sun etc,etc... Currently my plan is the OCMM gets used blades and is my go to razor for non-lathered precise trim work around my goatee/touch up work that I do after washing my face between shaves or after a shower. I still don't think the OCMM's ever drawn a speck of blood, lay it down at the angle it likes and let it work it's magic.
