Greetings
Monday 10th December 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: Ever Ready Heavy Flat Top Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Omega 10810 Boar Soap: Arko grated into a container Aftershave: Wilkinson Sword Sensitive balm
An excellent shave with this British version of the GEM HFT, but of course as I expected, there is no difference in shave quality to it's trans -Atlantic 'twin'.
Regards Dick.

10 December 12Razor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (6) Brush: *s havemac TSN'13 LE Ebony D01 Extra Silver Tip 003/100* Soap: *P.160* AS: *Krampert's Finest LE -- 80 Below* A superb shave this morning using mostly out of production kit (*). Only the razor and blade are still being made. I just couldn't bring myself to put the Cobra down. It mowed down 2 days worth of stubble effortlessly without biting or leaving any irritation.

ER '14 US Army Khaki Set Ted Pella Gem coated blade, 1st use. TOBS Jermny St Cream AOS Badger brush Nivea for Men AS Balm. Great shave, but a few weepers from this aggressive razor. I'm going to use this same ER '14 all week. I hold the '14 lightly between my thumb and middle finger high up on the knurled section and have the tip of my index finger on the smooth portion slightly above.A light EZ touch with good control.Once you find the zone where you're comfortable there won't be any more weepers.Brian & I both posted our '14 shaves over in Brian's: My%$#@^&! ER '14 ! Thread.

11 December 2012 -- 14 daysRazor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (7) Brush: Wet Shaving Products -- Monarch Super Badger 2-band Soap: Jabonman -- Jabon Marsella AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask Went to bed early not felling well and still woke up coughing and congested. This was my first use of a new soap while feeling less than stellar. Needless to say it wasn't a great lather; thinner than I like and too wet. I will say it was very slick as that is what kept this shave from being horrible. I just didn't get the cushion that I know this soap can give. Still had a BBS shave, just with a slight bit of irritation this time.

Wednesday Ever Ready 1914 Gem SS/PTFE blade...fresh new one.. Omega brush The Copper Hat Cedarwood and Sage soap Witch Hazel Old Spice AS Clubman talc I lost count on how many shaves I got out of my old Gem blade...at least 15, figured it was time to break out a new blade...maybe using the '14 with a fresh blade wasnt the best idea. First time I have bled in quite a long time..2 small weepers on my neck and it sorta skipped/jumped and gave me a small cut on my chin...musta been kind of deep as I leaked pretty good

Greetings Thursday 13th December 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: Ever Ready 1914 Little Lather Catcher Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Shaving Factory Med. Soap: Lea Stick (Grated) + Lea Cream + Glycerine Aftershave: La Toja Balm A super ultra creamy uberlather and a really nice shave. I am not sure what issue/submodel of the 14 this razor is but it has a really short handle with an odd coarse thread; none of the handles from any of my other razors will fit. I suspect this is the oddball thread there has been discussion about here recently. Regards Dick.

13 December 2012Razor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (8) Brush: Wet Shaving Products -- Monarch HWMSoap: JABONMAN VioletasAS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask What a great shave. There is just something so enjoyable about removing multiple days of growth so smoothly and easily. I'm still learning to lather the Jabonman soaps (only my 2nd use) and I'm getting better, but haven't dialed it in completely yet. The post shave skincare is amazing from these soaps though. Great complexity to his scents as well. This violet isn't your typical floral. There's something else there a bit earthy and deeper. It balances very nicely. BTW, I'm loving the increase in SOTD pictures gents! Keep 'em coming.
