I have been under the weather and have not shaved in a few days. So what do I use for a three day growth??? That'ssssss right the OCMM with a new Treet blade. WOO what a shave. The AV was a perfect match for the Williams as always. OCMM Treet D-1 ER 200/TGN Silver Tip Williams WH AV Ice Blue

17 December 2012Razor: Rhodium Gem OCMM + Pella PTFE (1) Brush: Custom E7 with HMW knotSoap: P.160 AS: Krampert's Finest LE -- 80 Below Every aspect of this shave utilizes either LE or out of production items, except the blade. It really was a fantastic shave and the maiden voyage of the E7 was simply sublime.

Fuzzy what's the background on the wooden shave mug ?
SharpSpine Brian I've withheld comments on the custom E7 until now,saw your thread on this brush....But IMO the picture posted above is by far the best shot of it,a strikingly beautiful handle !

Greetings Tuesday 16th December 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: Ever Ready Streamline Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Vulfix 406 Boar Soap: Speick grated into a container Aftershave: King of Shaves Balm An excellent shave from the Streamline, which for me is not the norm as I have recently explained. I now intend to take razorx advice and use this razor more in an attempt to master it. it is the only one of all my SE's I have any problem with and I know it is my technique with this razor that is lacking. Regards Dick

18 December 2012Razor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (11) Brush: E7 HMW Soap: JABONMAN Coconut AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask This shave started as an OCMM shave like yesterday but the blade was only worse from it's first use which is very odd. I binned it just thinking it was a bad blade. I picked up the Cobra instead of loading a fresh blade and turned a bad shave around very quickly. I'll have to revisit the OCMM with a different blade to make sure that the Cobra hasn't completely assimilated me.
Thanks for the comments on the E7, razorx. It is easily my favorite brush already. I may have to commission another one just so I don't use a single brush every day. The really do need to dry out completely, right?!

20 December 2012Razor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (12) Brush: E7 "Scarlet"Soap: RazoRock La Famiglia Nonno Michelino AS: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum -- Hip Flask While making a lather last night for my wife she said that we needed to name some of my brushes so it would be easier for her to know which one I'm talking about. She loves using a SE, quality soap and brush to shave now but she has no desire to learn the intricacies. The new custom E7 from Bob Quinn was shortly thereafter dubbed "Scarlet". A tribute to picking up the brush from Georgia and the red accents throughout the handle. Scarlet continues to amaze me. The Feather Pro blade is also still doing great now after 12 shaves (+1 back of neck shave from my wife) and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. It's certainly not as sharp as it was fresh, but it's super smooth and still plenty sharp. Color me happily impressed.

Greetings
Thursday 20th December 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: Ever Ready Streamline Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Vie Long 13061M Horse Soap: Tabac Aftershave: Adidas Balm
Another OK shave from the Streamline but a little bit of tenderness on my neck under my ears caused by excessive touching up (which I seemed to need) why is it I find this razor 'difficult'!
Regards Dick.

Thursday...possibly the last shave before the end of the world, so I had to try the Patent Pending ER 1914 Gem SS/PTFE coated blade Speick stick grated into a container Semogue 1305 boar brush Witch Hazel Brut AS Clubman talc Fantastic shave, no blood, no irritation just a very smooth shave. I have the day off so I had the pleasure of a non-rushed, take my time shave
