Greetings
Friday 18th January 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Junior Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Omega 39 Boar Soap: Lea grated into a container + Lea cream + glycerine= überlather Aftershave: Adidas Balm
Bowl lathered this morning, just for a change, super lather but I do find it to be a lot of 'faffing' about to achieve much the same quality lather as my usual face lather. A bit like typing these umlauts!
Regards Dick.

18 January 2013Razor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (10) Brush: Wet Shaving Products -- Monarch HMW Soap: Martin de Candre - Savon À Raser (12)AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask
After reading Andrew's thread on irritation from shaving I saw a suggestion for doing the opposite of stretching the skin. Just keep your skin slack, even push the skin towards the blade instead of pulling it away from the blade. I must admit that the results were overall quite impressive. There were a few areas (upper lip and chin) that it nicked me when these areas are usually easy for me. However, my problem spots on my lower neck along the sides was very easily shaved smooth. My next shave I'll try a hybrid shave using what I've found works best in the different areas.
Anyone else try a slack skin approach?

Sunday 20th January 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Junior Baton handle Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Vulfix 404 Mixed Soap: Wilkinson Sword stick grated into a container Aftershave: King of Shaves Balm
Smashing shave, I really love the performance of this soap, I accidentally ordered four sticks instead of two by adding to my basket twice; the best mistake I could have made!
Regards Dick.

Brush: Omega 11047 (Mighty Midget) Soap: Williams Razor: Ever-Ready Streamline Blade: GEM PTFE (8) Krampert's Finest Bay Rum After Shave
What a shave !
I'd been in a slump with my Streamline ever since the Cobra Classic left town.Nothing felt right so I switched over to my OCMM and nailed some really solid shaves....Went back to the Streamline today and my technique fell back into place and I got an amazingly good shave quickly and easily... One of the best in memory.
Also great to be back to my Bay Rum,I've been trying to kill off the last bit of Pinaud lingerling on the bottom of the bottle and damn if it didn't last for much longer than expected.
