Monday, 14 January
Gem MMCP Gem Blue Star Blade (2) Made-Rite 500PB Brush Arko Shave Stick Mennen Skin Bracer AS
I just had to do one pass with touch-up to get a very nice shave this morning. I may just stick with the carbon steel blades for a bit longer. For some reason I always forget how well they perform for me...until I try one again.

Greetings
Prep: Shower Razor: Ever Ready 1914 Little Lather Catcher Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Semogue 620 Boar Soap: Vé-Gé stick grated into a container Aftershave: RSC Balm
A very good shave but the Vé-Gé soap is only a moderate performer, it lathers well but seems rather dry with limited 'slip/glide' I found it last year in a Canarian supermarket, it is a non tallow soap made by Lascara, the company that maufactures the Lea products from Vitoria-Gastiez in the Basque country in northern Spain, it cost 85 Euro cents.
Regards Dick

First shave with the Wilkinson Empire Modded Gem SS PTFE blade WSP Prince brush Cella soap Witch Hazel Krampert's Bay Rum AS Clubman talc Interesting shave, a lot like a VAS but the Wilkinson is heavier. Ended up with a very smooth shave, i like the Wilkinson a lot. Second shave with the WSP brush, it really liked the Cella soap, made a wonderful lather on my face Great shave!!!

I was lazy this weekend. So no shave for three days...soooooooooo who you gonna call?? That's right the OCMM ;D OCMM PAL D-3 Generic small boar Williams WH Pinaud Clubman What a great shave. Three days of beard just went away. The small boar looks like hell but is a lather monster with the Williams. All around an outstanding shave to start a late night half day at work. ;D

17 January 2013Razor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (9) Brush: Custom E7 Scarlett + WSP HMW 23/50 Soap: Martin de Candre - Savon À Raser (11)AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask
After taking some time off from the Cobra to have some fun with my Streamline and OCMM I just couldn't resist the Cobra again. I must admit, despite how much I wanted both the Streamline and OCMM to keep up, that the Cobra just blows them away. With other SEs I must really pay attention to my direction of growth (especially on my lower neck), but the Cobra easily clears these areas regardless of direction. Now to see just how many shaves I can get out of this blade. My first Feather Pro went 14 shaves & I could have done more but changed it (early) to take some blade changes pictures for some friends.
Have a great day and happy shaves y'all.
