Greetings
Well done Tom another good find, I just do not know how you chaps in the states manage to do it.
I look in all of my local charity shops every week for any shaving paraphernalia and my total finds over the last couple of years have amounted to bugger all!
You would think by now I would have found something!
Regards Dick.

It isn't for lack of trying either. I find the odd really good piece, but the seller wants double or more of the proper price. I try not to buy those. AWESOME MARVY HT I haven't specifically looked for that color but I sure as heck haven't seen one that I can remember. I pretty much thought they were all one shade or variety of green. You snagged another great one HT. You appear to have a natural knack for saving the aimless orphans out there - good stuff!

Thats a great score!! That mug is really cool and the brush looks to be in pretty good shape, could probably use it after a good cleaning.

Not everyone in the USA has that sort of success. I suspect Tom lives near a population center or makes his finds IN a population center.
I find nothing in the wild either.

There are about a dozen thrift type stores within just a few minutes of where I live. And that's just on the Indiana side of the river, Louisville has a lot as well. I just don't get to them very often.

Ive been to every antique store and thrift store with in a 60 mile area. Nothing but a few very beat up brushes with $30+ price tags, and very small straight razors with $50+ tags on them. I should mention they are in such poor shape I wouldnt take them if they were free. Old does not always equal valuable ......
