Well the blade looks pretty well stuck in there. Maybe a round of taps is in order?

Well...Im embarrassed to admit that I have not yet been able to fix it,,, Well I've played with mine trying to see how it comes apart but have had no luck. Mine feeds the new blades fine though. But I won't load them that way because it loos like the edge gets scraped along the slit in the top where they emerge. I just load it by hand which isn't too difficult. I need to get a new cartridge of blades so I can use the darned thing.

HI, just reading the problem that you are having to take it apart... its quite easy... on the first page theres a pic where some screws have been removed.. thats ok, to continue you have to bend (slightly) the flaps where the small screws are... they are preventing the interior to go out, its a bit scary cos you think that you are going to break it but its safe if you just bend them a bit...
In this video you can see one dismantled in the top and the exterior cover with the flaps bent

Man I'm Pulling for you....Have you tried Tom's suggestion? Have you tried Jose's suggestion? I know some guys have C's that the mechanics are working and that system is an absolute joy to behold.....The Col was so far ahead of his time, nobody has caught up to him yet....
Good luck...

THANK YOU JOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!! After seeing the video showing the tabs bent out, I thought I would give it a try this morning. Those tabs are actually quite thin and bend very easy. Once bent, the razor comes apart easily Cleaned it up and lubricated it with a bit of mineral oil and its as good as new! I got it to inject a new blade but it doesnt like it as much as the thicker old blades.. I think I will manually load new blades in the head from now on Thanks again!!! Kevin

Hip, Hip, Hooray!BTW I would like to recommend a lube I use. It's called , Gun Butter, and will keep a 1911 lubed through 10,000 continuous rounds.. it's made beyond mil-spec and an itsy bitsy teenee weenie drop goes a long way. . And for those of you that are not using magazine type blades(thick) which blades are you using? I tried and they just zipped out. So I took out the mike and only EverSharp (no holes or slots)Stroned(I love that word) blades fit. and there's an up and down side on the magazine blade--Thank you Hagises for the tip. So list "newer" blades that work for you in your A,B ,C please.

I received a gift of a Schick C3 today...I took it apart like the picture above and clean it really good....Put it back together, and loaded 10 of the new Personna blades in it...I rifled them off, onto a soft towel...Reloaded them and rifled them through again as fast as I could...Performed flawlessly...I hope it keeps this up...}8^D
I've been told to keep the underside of the slide dry, and all parts that touch the blade dry....I was told that sometimes when a blade sticks, it sticks to the oil...I don't know, but I followed that advice after I cleaned and oiled it with Break-free. I then dried every part that touches the blades...So far so good...
Tonight I had my first Shave with a repeater...This C3 shaves perfect...Awesome BBS and irritation free...The good Col. sure got it right, early on.

You know....this one will work perfect and then jam...but you just take the head off, push the body out and pull the top plate and its so easy to clear...But I think the safest sure fire way to go, is, rack one in the head and leave one in the magazine and carry on.....a week later you can rack a new one in and reload one in the magazine...It doesn't ever jam with just one in the mag..
The coolest part is that it's giving me the best shaves...so far, non-stop irritation free BBSs....I mean, like giving BBS and new meaning ..While still being irritation free...But it demands that you keep the handle about 90%...and head flat...If you drop the angle it doesn't bite, it just doesn't cut any whiskers...and you can hear all of this aswell. So it's easy to keep everything moving...

An addendum to the above post....I've been working the mechanism...And it doesn't now seem to matter how many blades I load...I've been putting 15 and racking them through it, reloading and racking them through it, now 5 times... Two things, one, it seems to like being held blade side down when I rack it, and two, don't oil it too much...I cleaned most the lub off and had to rack a few sets of blades to work in the oil and things are not wet with oil. When the bottom of the blade racking slide is damp with oil, a blade can stick to it and cause a jam. I had heard this, but now know from experience, it's true...That was the issue I was having. Now I'm starting to feel confident....I'll get back here if anything new developes, but at the present time, To say I'm satisfied would be a gross understatement .... Here's mine....

Looks great! Thanks for the update and the info. I have a C1 on the way (an open comb Schick - how cool is that?) that is in pretty rough condition (the price was right) that I'm hoping I will be able to restore. This information is invaluable - thanks again.

It indeed helped a great deal - thanks again. While I was fortunate to be able to restore the C1 to full functionality without having to disassemble it, prior to viewing the video I had no idea how to work the slide, open the magazine, etc. My C1 actually turned out to be in pretty good shape, other than the gold plating being mostly gone and the underlying brass badly tarnished. As Paul has noted, the brass used in these old razors shines up really nicely. The mechanism was thoroughly frozen, probably not having been opened in many years. However, some time it the ultrasonic jewelry cleaner followed by a soak in hot soap water allowed me to free it up with a little help from a pair of pliers with the jaws taped. More time in the ultrasonic followed by some dry lubricant and I was soon racking blades through the mechanism with aplomb. Modern blades presented a couple of challenges, being thinner than vintage blades. It requires a little wiggling of the plunger to get the blade started without the plunger hanging up on the next blade edge, and the blade is not held in place very firmly by the blade spring. It is possible to move the blade in the razor with a fingernail. Which actually is not a bad thing, as the blade does not always line up properly, and requires a little push to get it against the back of the holder where it belongs (there aren't really any blade stops). Once in place it is held securely enough for shaving. So how does it shave? Surprisingly mild. Perhaps not so surprising, looking at how the comb extends in front of the blade edge. The blade is held at a 90 degree angle to the handle, which takes a little getting used to while finding the best shaving angle. The repeater mechanism in the handle adds quite a bit of heft, making the razor feel solid in the hand, and much different from the injectors. Despite the mildness I was still able to get a close comfortable shave approaching BBS with a new Personna blade. These repeating razors are fascinating - I wouldn't mind acquiring a few more of them. --Bob
