Thursday 2/14
Razor: Schick Injector G6 Blade: Personna Brush: Semogue 1305 boar Lather: Williams soap Post: Alum, Lucido, Unrefined Shea Butter
Results: Best Williams shave ever for me. I took Brian (SharpSpine's) advice on Ultralathering. I used a damp brush, loaded heavily and added just enough water to hydrate. Mostly BBS for Valentine's Day.

I hadn't even thought about trying a UL with modern Williams as I know it likes lots of water. Now I may just have to crack open a box and give it a go. First I have to make some other lathering videos. Glad the UL technique gave you such a fine lather. Have a great day!

OCMM GEM Blade Simpson Duke 2 Best KMF Proraso as balm
BBS with just slightest irritation on neck due my first shave with OCMM. WTG, XTG, Touch up ATG(basically few spots)
I am hugely surprised the OC works for me as I was always afraid of it like fire!

Greetings Saturday 16th February 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: Schick Injector I1 Blade: Personna Stainless Coated Brush: Burma Shave Boar Soap: Tabac stick grated into a container Aftershave : Floid Balm A brilliant shave. A change of injector in order to compare the Schick J3 against the Schick I1, and the shave quality from the two heads to me seems exactly the same; however the shorter handle on the I1 makes it (IMHO) an easier razor to handle and thus more pleasant to shave with. Regards Dick.

Saturday morning shave Gem OC Damaskeene Gem SS/PTFE blade WSP Prince bush Williams/KMF/Krampert's shave enhancer Witch Hazel Captains Choice Bay Rum AS Clubman Talc Thought I would try Williams as its been quite along time since I have shaved with it. Built a nice lather but when I tried to shave it didnt go well at all, lots of tugging, it seemed as though there was something seriously wrong with the blade! Made 2 or 3 passes and added KMF cream and Kramperts shave enhancer , re-lathered and this helped somewhat as it added some smoothness and glide to the lather. Managed to finish the first pass and then washed out my brush and finished my shave with KMF. 100% better, very smooth and close shave. I will try Williams 1 more time in case I messed up the lather somehow, but if its anything like todays shave, it wont be in my soap rotation anymore.

I had my last shave on this blade and it was an excellent one. Maybe I should try getting three weeks out of one blade sometime!

16 February 2013Razor: EverReady Streamline Brush: E7 Scarlett + WSP HMW 23/50 Soap: Martin de Candre - Savon À Raser (32)AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum
Had an amazing shave with the Streamline. While the results may not be quite as good as the Cobra, dare I say it is more enjoyable an experience. MdC easily created an UltraLather when paired with Scarlett. Happy weekend folks!

Saturday, February 16th
Personna injector Schick blade pure-badger brush Williams soap Afta
A new combination for me. A few nicks attempting to get the closeness I wanted (lather was great). I generally use the Afta on specific occasions, but this was an opportunity to test it's effectives on a less-than-comfortable shave.
