Razor: GEM Jr 1912 Blade: GEM coated stainless (1) Brush: VDH Pure Badger Lather: Williams soap Post: Alum, Lucido, Unrefined Shea Butter
Results: Very nice shave! I've been ignoring my 1912s for a while and it's good to be back! The "baton-handle" Jr is not the best looking of the family, but it shaves very nicely. Mostly BBS.

Greetings I am absolutely 100% in agreement my GEM Junior utility model 1912 in unplated brass with the baton handle is the best shaver of my 1912's by a good bit. I am totally unable to say why this is. Regards Dick.

Gem 1912 Junior Gem SS/PFTE Blade (4) Turkish #6 Brush Arko Shave Stick Family Dollar (Vi-Jon) Spice AS
I had a full day and a half's worth of beard today and the shave I got was marvelous - my usual experience when I actually have some visible stubble. Of course, the Junior played a large role in this. The Junior and the Dammy have become my favorites among my collection.
Oh yeah, the Turkish #6 brush also performed really well. I don't know why I don't use this brush more often.

`still prefer KMF cream over harris my PIF it if I dont like it next time. Seems creams have better cushion for me and moisturized. I will give a try MdC and p.160 next wek but need to order them1

Gem OCMM Gem SS/PFTE Blade (6) Turkish #6 Brush Arko Shave Stick Pereja Lemon Cologne
I just had a very nice shave with the OCMM. It's the best one I've had with this particular razor in a couple of weeks. Don't know what I did differently this time around!

still prefer KMF cream over harris I think KMF is one of the best creams out there and the price is right...at least here in the states.

Greetings
Sunday 24th February 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Micromatic OC Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Vulfix 404 Mixed Soap: Speick stick grated into a container Aftershave: Simple Balm
A just about perfect shave from what is (IMHO) probably the ultimate safety razor.
What also gives me a rather juvenile smug feeling, is that every component of this shave utilises cheap items that I truly believe are hard to beat at any price
Regards Dick

You are in for quite a surprise when you see how easy it is to lather both of these amazing soaps!
