Greetings Tuesday 19th February 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: Schick Injector G8 Blade: Personna Stainless Coated Brush: Semogue 830 Boar Soap: Cella Aftershave: La Toja Balm Back to the G8 today and I now think that I am fairly happy that the G type (at least for me) is a slightly better shaver and nicer razor to use than the I and J types; but only by the smallest margin. I have no issues with the shave produced by any of these three. The E type on the other hand is much more aggressive, but it does not really produce a better shave and is a little 'fierce' on my neck area, your views, as always may differ from mine. Regards Dick.

20 February 2013Razor: OCMM Brush: Wet Shaving Products - Monarch SuperFine Soap: Martin de Candre - Savon À Raser (34)AS: Krampert's Finest Menthol - Test Bottle A
I can't believe that my once favorite razor could now be just a travel razor for me. The Cobra and Streamline are seeing the bulk of my shaves right now. However, I don't want to take either of these on a trip and risk something happening to them. With an upcoming roadtrip this weekend I decided I better give the OCMM some face time and start out a new blade so it would be really smooth shaving while out of town. Isn't it amazing how things change over time?

Greetings Thursday 21st February 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: Schick Injector E3 Blade: Personna Stainless Coated Brush: Omega 10810 Boar Soap: Arko pressed into a container Aftershave: Simple Balm A very good shave but it confirms what I have thought for some time, the E type Schick's whilst being more aggressive are not better shavers than the G types and they are less pleasant to use. Regards Dick.
