Jack, I could tell you some of the things that would be found in mine, but some of the things I built and are one off. My razor would be unmentionable but would be found in this case. Edit: Sorry. I tried to put a photo in here yesterday and Photobucket was operating extremely slowly, unuseable. Today the same thing. Finally! Photobucket still sucks. I didn't have this problem with their old software, but they made the site better, and unuseable. Jerks (OK I prefer a stronger 8 letter word, but I won't use it. Starts with A ends with s.) The handle is in the center, the head is to the right and the case allows for a blade to be in place. Additional blades to the left of the handle. The razor itself is nothing fantastic, but with 2 shims it works good enough. If it's somehow lost I've lost nothing that can't be replaced easily. The hard portion of the case was dadoed and is made of delrin. The leather is goat skin. Here's what it looks like closed. Dimensions are 1"thick (3cm) x 2" (5.2cm) x 3 3/4" (9.5cm), all dimensions approximate. Of course a SE razor could also do the job, but I value those higher than this piece of... well it works. For AS, well it's simply not in doubt what I'd use. (my own) For lather, a stick or a tube cream in a baggie. In a few days I'll do a review of travel brushes as long as no one objects to the review being on 2 forums. Let me know in advance or it won't show up here. I'll link to it instead.

I usually travel with things that I can live without or are easily replaced in case I lose them or an airline loses them for me For short trips (1 week or less) I take carry on luggage, so I use a Bic Sensitive disposable razor, it is a decent throw away SE razor. For longer trips, I usually take a Schick Injector, they are fairly small, pack well and the blades also travel well. I pack either an Omega or Vulfix cheaper boar brush, they work good and are easy to replace As for soap, lately I have been packing a tube of KMF and/or a stick of LaToja..I enjoy both I have a few 2oz plastic bottles that I fill with aftershave and 1 with witch hazel. I travel quiet a bit so I always have myl kit ready to go.

Here is what I use (actually one of two, the other one is bigger). A vintage travel case that was meant to hold a safety razor but also nicely accommodates a straight razor. goo.gl/WJlbM has two images. I have since replaced the original brush with a Thäter travel brush: goo.gl/V0IWP. While slightly too small for personal use for my liking sports the same distinct qualities of all Thäter brushes: fine tips and lots of backbone. I wrote a review of one of the two band models a while ago: goo.gl/YwNca. If you are looking for the best value for money in a high end brush, Thäter is a very likely candidate. Oh, and if you accidentally stick a razor blade amongst a largish amount of coins in your purse, travel security won't find it. I found that out by accident.

I think I will use a WeeScot as travel brush or buy a Muhle finally.\ KMF I will be getting soon another scent so I will order a tube version also(My fav cream). Thinking to buy Tabac stick also.
Styptic pen easy boots.
Need to get some razor to choose. Might but a FW for that purpose or I was thinking Feather Portable(hard to find)
A small bottle of Brian's Bay rum a must have.

I usually travel with things that I can live without or are easily replaced in case I lose them or an airline loses them for me I do the same thing. Right now, my travel kit includes a razor that was one of the cheapest I've acquired and is one of the least dear to me - the Contour. I also have my inexpensive Burma-Shave boar (although I might soon switch this out for the Turkish #6), a stick of Arko, and some AS (currently Skin Bracer) in a small plastic spray bottle. Works for me!

I am currently using a WWII G-3 set. A 1912 with the black metal handle in a plastic case. There is room for a pack of PAL or Treet blades. I add to this an Omega travel boar brush and a shave stick. In this case my homemade VDH glycerin stick. I do not know if you are limited by air travel on AS and such. I have several of the 3 ounce bottles that I can put different after shaves in. I also have some Williams and other soaps in small plastic containers if I have room for them. I do not travel by air much so usually have room for whatever I want to take. This is the core of my kit though.

Very nice indeed. Amazing set, now I am tempted. NO Jack Stop you have enough..but maybe one more.... ehhh life. To show my age a bit..... The G-3 set is the bomb. There are several different Military sets that work great to travel with. I have used a WWI Damaskeene set alot too and can easily go back to it. They are made for ease of carry and to be compact. Some even have a small mirror with them. I keep a small mirror that I can use if need be. I wholeheartedly recommend that travelers acquire one.
