Greetings Friday 22nd March 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: Ever Ready 1924 Shovelhead Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Vulfix 404 Mixed Soap: Tabac Aftershave: RSC Balm An ultra close shave from my new (to me) '24. These razors are IMHO very aggressive but not 'vicious' or difficult to shave with and do produce a super result. I think I have now arrived at what I believe are my top three shaving soaps although in my mind I keep juggling with the order in which I rate them, but they are:- Tabac, Spieck and Wilkinson Sword Stick. Regards Dick.

22 March 2013Pre: Proraso Crema Pre BarbaRazor: EverReady Streamline Brush: Elite7 ScarlettSoap: Antica Barbieria Colla Bitter Almond (ABCBA) Italian soft soapAS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask
Yesterday I received my split off of a brick of this rare Italian soft soap. I'm reserving my full thoughts until I use it a few more times and compare it to staples like P.160 & Vito's Extra.

24 March 2013Pre: Proraso Crema Pre BarbaRazor: Cobra Classic + Feather Professional (10) Brush: s havemac TSN '13 D01 003/100 Soap: Antica Barbieria Colla Bitter AlmondAS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask
So the Feather Pro blades may just be too sharp for me and my latest shaving technique. Definitely got bit a couple times, but man oh man what a close, smooth, & irritation free shave. I'll eventually get some Kai Mild blades to try but for now I'll just have to pay more attention when using the Cobra. Sometimes it's nice just to whip a razor around your face and have a superb shave without thinking in a couple of passes. Guess I'll just have to get by doing just that with my Streamline and OCMM.

Sunday 3/24
Razor: Schick injector E Blade Personna (or NOS US-made Schick, I'm not sure) Brush: VDH Pure Badger Lather: Arko stick Post: Alum, Lucido, unrefined Shea Butter
Results: Super close shave as usual with this razor! I loaded a new blade from a NOS Schick cartridge, but the blade may have been inserted from a "keyless" Personna cartridge. Unfortunately also as usual were a few weepers, but no major bloodletting. BBS.
