01 April 2013Pre: Proraso Crema Pre BarbaRazor 1: CJB + Feather Professional (3) Razor 2: Rhodium GEM OCMM Brush: Elite7 Scarlett + WSP HMW 23/50 Soap: Antica Barbieria Colla Bitter AlmondAS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum -- Hip Flask
Much better with the CJB kamisori style disposable straight. Completed a full WTG pass with no problems. Also completed the left side XTG well. Cut myself trying to do the right side XTG with my dominant left hand. I very well may just need to be ambidextrous to get this down. Overall I was very pleased with how much better I did on this time out. The OCMM easily cleaned up the right side and touchups.

Monday 4/1 Razor: Schick Injector G Blade Personna Brush: Turkish #6 horse Lather: Arko stick Post: Alum, Witch Hazel, unrefined Shea Butter Results: A great shave with my Workout/travel-kit. Everything fits in some sort of improvised container (spice container for brush, manicure kit for razor, old Brut deo container for Arko). It's a really easy combo to use and works well for me. Mostly BBS and no irritation.

Soap: Williams Brush: VDH Boar Aftershave: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum Blade GEM PTFE ( 3 ) Razor: GEM Micromatic OC
I have never had anything less than an outstanding shave from the MMOC This was only my 3rd SE shave over the past month and a half due to heavy injector use. One of the most intuitive razors I've ever used....
Perfect from start to finish

Greetings Wednesday 3rd April 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Flying Wing Blade: GEM Blue Star Carbon Brush: Vulfix 404 Mixed Soap: Klar Kabinett Aftershave: Floid Balm First shave with my new gold Flying Wing (Bullet Tip) which turned up in the post yesterday from the USA, eight days to cross the Atlantic and that is with three days over the Easter period with no mail in between, you have to say that although both our postal services are no longer cheap they are still quick and usually very efficient. What a lovely razor in unused condition and it gives a gentle but excellent shave. The Klar Kabinett soap is new to me and a kind gift from a friend on another forum, I like it; it lathers up super easy even in my hard water and is nice and slick, it has the most delicate of Rose scents. I did notice it leaves very little scum in my hard water, perhaps this is because just about all my other soaps are tallow and this is not, it was quite noticeable. This was my fourth and final shave from the GEM Blue Star, I now feel as happy as I can be that these are indeed a different blade to the Treets and have double the life, at least they do for me. A lovely shave. Regards Dick.

Greetings Thursday 4th April 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: Valet Autostrop Mod. C Blade: GEM Stainless Coated modified Brush: Omega 39 Boar Soap: Palmolive Soap + Palmolive Cream + Glycerine Überlather Aftershave: RSC Balm A great shave but I made my neck under my ears a little tender with too much touching up. I have a little area about the size of a shilling on my neck about an inch under my ears where the whiskers grow in a circular Catherine wheel style whorl. I find it nearly impossible to get this area smooth without endless touching up. Regards Dick.

I feel fortunate that I don't have to deal with a whorl. Good luck with it.
