MONDAY Autostop Feather SE TGN Silvertip Proraso White Preshave Proraso Soap Proraso Splash This morning was my Menthol Monday shave! It went really well until I forgot to apply the preshave before my second pass! New Feather SEs are too sharp for my face on the initial shave, but the preshave helps add cusion and the shave goes smoothly (when applied). In the end it was a decent shave! Attachments:

Wow nice razor. And a WASP 10 for $429. Thanks. I'll be sending it out for replating' cause it's sound. That should make it even better. The WASR 10.... A page from Shotgun News. Just a little light reading from next to the Obama Presidential Library chair. ;D Tuesday mornings shave: I had to get out right away today so I couldn't post until now. Hot towel face prep Vitos SIS Handcrafted badger brush w/ brazilian rosewood handle Kampfe 1914 Cru-Steel Lather Catcher GEM SS ptfe Bay Rum Yet another absolutely fantastic shave from a razor from very long ago. I wish it could talk. Just a reminder gents... Tomorrow begins GEM 1912 Month!

Wednesday, February 1, 2012 - GEMruary! Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar Coffee: Locally roasted Panamanian w/ cream Lather: Williams Mug Soap (modern) - face lather Brush: Simpson's Commodore X2 Razor: The Enigma - HFT, G-bar, Blade: TP Gem PTFE (1); 3 passes Post: Cold water rinse; Captain's Choice Bay Rum; Kiehl's Balm Happy GEMruary! A month of the Gems with the 27th being the centennial of the 1912 patent. The HFT performed flawlessly, much like its finish. The Williams provided a super slick surface which was perfect for me. Definitely not a thick lather today, but it certainly set the stage well for a splendid shave. Shave Rating - Splendidly Sublime! God Bless!
