Please take a look: It has the flaps but does not seem to be possible to open it just like a G. What is it?

hi! Looks like a G. Molded handle. E_2 early with striated safety bar opened and the I-2 HMs' and 500s'.I like the early Gs' but c&es' are my faves.

The Canadian Schicks don't fit into the accepted typology at all. I have one with an E2 style head - side flaps on the spring and narrow depth head, also aggressive - but with a seamed plastic handle ( which the conventional system says would be a G). However, it's in its original box which is Magazine Repeating Razor (not Eversharp), which dates it to pre-1945 before the G-Type was introduced. I've also seen photos of a Canadian G style head with bakelite unseamed handle. So the US typology simply doesn't fit here. I just call mine a Schick Canadian E, but Schick 1937 would sound quite cool too!
