The one on the right on its case, is the mysterious Pat'd 1902 dammy.

Could someone elaborate on this 1902? I am intrigued about hearing about it. I may have to do some searching to possess one.

About 2 years ago, someone with many more years of experience, and much more SE knowledge than I, indicated that they had only seen 1 other pat'd 1902 damaskeene ever.

What a beautiful chorus line. Is there any thought how many 1902s were manufactured. I work for the Patent and Trademark office, and I don't recall the particular patent for this razor. The 1912 is readily recognizable, but this one is a bit of a mystery. I going to search the files and see what turns up. Is there any month printed on it?

The consensus is that it was mistakenly stamped 1902 instead of 1912. Undoubtedly very, very few of them are around.

Well, I have a GEM Jewel on the way from NZ, so I need a new "Holy Grail" to yearn for.
