My wife has been trying to get back some basin space in our bathroom for sometime now. With my brush and razor stands taking up a good deal of real estate, I was looking for a nice solution without buying a huge cabinet for the wall. I had been eyeing the small cabinets that was made for Gem and Ever Ready razors, but the prices are way out of my comfort zone. I was watching a very nice one on the bay expecting the bidding war to happen after my initial bid. There was no bidding war; and I received the item for the opening price. Well the item Saftee Shaving Cabinet cam in yesterday. Although is only measures 6.5"x6"x1.5", which is smaller than I anticipated, it still should do the job. Also, when my wife came home from work, she gave me something she picked up from the local thrift store while at lunch. She knows I am a gadget geek and she thought I would like the Kriss Kross sharpener. As usual, my bride knows me very well. I am so blessed to share my life with her. For your enjoyment, here are the pictures. First up, the Safetee Shaving Cabinet: And the Kriss Kross sharpener: Looks like I now need to add the Kriss Kross razor.

Rich, will it only sharpen KrissKross blades? Neat items! From my understanding it will do most any edge blade/wedge for safety razors. I tried it with a se blade. It seemed to handle it fine. Here is a video on how it operates: The strop was really dry when my wife brought it home. I used Dr. Jackson's Hide Rejuvenator to bring the strop back to life. If you never tried Dr. J's, it is fantastic for leather holsters.

That's pretty cool!
I've never even heard of the product. I'll look for it at our local tack store. If anyone will have it they will.

Well how about that? I actually caught that exact shaving cabinet listed on the bay when I was looking around for more gear. Nice vintage looking cabinet.

Love the cabinet! I'm surprised your wife knew what the blade sharpener was, good score. I was in an antique store a little while ago and they had 3 of them...they wanted $35 each so I passed on them

Thank you for all the kind comments. Agreed, my wife is some kind of special. She has a nose for deals and is very knowledgeable about vintage items, including my shaving RAD. The asking price of the Kriss Kross sharpener was $12, but she bought it for $8. It helps being extremely good looking with blue eyes and built the proverbial brick outhouse.
