How many of you guys face lather creams. I have gotten into the habit of putting the cream onto a damp brush then lathering straight on my face. Any one else like this as much as I do?

With the lot of shaving cream of recently purchased, I have been lathering as they describe and by you. I find it works pretty well, but I miss the warmth from the scuttle on the second/third pass.
Makes a great uberlather with Arko rubbed onto the face prior to the cream on the brush.

The only way I lather anything for a shave is on my face. The goal is to get it on the skin so that's where I start. I take the amount intended and wipe it directly on my cheeks approximately 1/2 per cheek and make sure my finger is clean by spreading any residue wherever I have skin to do so, Then just get down to business with a slightly wet brush to spread it around then face lather as usual.

I usually face lather Creams or Soaps, I might use a bowl 2-3 times during the year. With Tub Creams I usually dip and swirl my brush, for tubes I'll take ~1-1.5" of cream and spread it on the dampened whisker area, then begin face lathering.

Creams I bowl lather. Did face lather a couple times but did not like the resulting lather. So I stuck with what worked best for me. Now soaps I do face lather. Load the brush with soap and then build the lather on my face.

I can face or bowl lather all my creams. I only have a couple of Klar soaps but they work very well for both face and bowl also.
