I picked up this little brush a couple years ago for $5 at an antique store that was going out of business. It's not a real glamorous brush, but I'm pretty sure it was unused because there was no dried lather in the knot or on the handle. It's a really small brush , the original pure badger knot is only about 14 mm, and really soft, almost too soft. I had to open the hole quite a bit with a Dremel tool just to get the replacement knot, a TGN 16 mm finest badger, to fit. The TGN finest badger is really an outstanding knot, it made this brush quite enjoyable to use. Here it is with the original knot. And here it is with the "bigger" TGN 16 mm. I think the dark hairs contrast nicely with the ivory color of the handle and the orange lettering.
