I have a couple packs of Personna injector blades left from a bunch that I bought in 2009 or 10 when the stores were closing them out and decided to use some. I opened a pack of Personna platinum chrome blades that had 2009 on the package, and here's what happened when I was trying to load the first blade into a Personna injector. And this isn't the first time it's happened to me. But, on a good note, the package stated that the dispenser contained seven blades, but when I took them out to reload into a better dispenser there was actually eleven blades, so, score!

This has happened to me many times. It got to the point where I never even bothered to try and use them, I would break the plastic dispenser open and load them into a metal one. I finally ran out and from then on only bought Chicks.

Man....looks like you cats have been 'Gorilla-ing' those poor, unsuspecting plastic blade dispensers......LMAO!!!! Like Admiral Nimitz said, "The sword of power needs to be wielded with a gentle hand..."...... Just kidding....I know these guys can be a pain.....I've been lucky so far....if I gently turn the key till the slide racks easily....But thats not to say I won't be standing in loose blades tomorrow morning....LMAO.....

Actually, I was being kind of gentle but the Personna razor is very stiff or tight, and i was giving it a little of your patented twist to get the blade started when the white plastic part fell off. I really like the older Personna platinum chrome blades, much better than the current PTFE coated Personnas, and they are now resting comfortably in an empty Personna 74 dispenser awaiting their turn.

My personna dispenser also broke very much the same way....I wish I could use some other dispenser to store the remaining 15 blades, but I don't have a clue about which type of dispensers, vintage or modern, can be recharged...any advices?

I would say any all metal dispenser...just be careful that you don't drag the sharp edge on anything.....On metal will dull it and on skin ....well, not pretty....ha,ha...Theres a thread here somewhere I believe showing or talking through in detail.... Hey...does anybody remember where that thread is ?
