Wednesday Evening Vintage Williams ( OK, I heard the chuckling ) Strong Set 20mm TGN Finest Treet 1912 style with a Spined Feather SE Krampert's Finest Frostbite Well the Treet was a Treat. Mild and forgiving. But I am an Idiot! I thought that Star, Gem, Treet, Ever Ready all had the same 1912 style head. But this thing has a closed comb bar instead of an open comb. Oh well I guess I still haven't had the real 1912 experience yet, Back to the antique shops

Greetings Friday 30th August 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Contour II Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Burma Shave Boar Soap: Klar Kabinett Aftershave: Astral Cream (light) My first shave with this razor and it gave me a really good shave but I needed a good deal of 'touching up'. The razor is very mild and IMHO the mildest razor made by GEM even more so than the Contour the previous model GEM. This was the last model of razor made by GEM before all production was ended. Regards Dick.

Greetings Saturday 31st August 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM OCMM Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Semogue 620 Boar Soap: Speick Stick grated into a container Aftershave: Astral Cream (light) After a false start with a duff blade, a wonderful close shave, after yesterdays ultra mild shave the OCMM really proved itself as the 'King' of safety razors. Regarding yesterdays shave with the Contour II, GEM's last and mildest shaving razor, although I had a good shave at the time my 5 O'clock shadow appeared at 2 pm! Regards Dick.
