Wow! That one you showed us, Snuff, looks like a real vampire! Reminds me of the headless horseman in Tim Burton's 'Sleepy Hollow'. Does it have the nubs on the baseplate, like drumzalot showed us? No there are no nubs (the razor must be cleaned up some more, there is still some work to do)

Reminds me of the headless horseman in Tim Burton's 'Sleepy Hollow'. I had the very same thought Just like Christopher Walken's fictional character, this MMOC here seems to have had its teeth sharpened to look more frightful! Now seriously, it seems pretty clear that the razor has been modified, given the irregularities between the teeth, especially the middle ones. But why would anyone do that? Maybe it was an unfortunate try to shape the comb like a Gillette Old Type DE?

Snuff - the aggression of your razor would concur with the general consensus that the ones without nubs are more aggressive. With the nubless variants, the blade gap is much greater - the nubs cause the blade to angle down more, closing up the gap. My theory, anyway ...

Greetings You are quite correct, now looking at it again in the light of your post, you can see that the teeth are all a little bit different, clearly hand work and not machined, it has been modified. I wonder what the person who did it thought he (or she) might achieve? Regards Dick.

I was thinking someone trying to make it look like a DE. I will round up the firing squad. !! Please....pick me....a firing squad is too good for someone mutilating one of these classics... I was going to say, my OCMM is without the tabs and I've gotten smooth irritation free shaves out of her since day one.... But those vampire teeth.....yep, wheres that firing squad?

You'll have to send the squad somewhere else, no shooting at my house, the new owner has already used it and is VERY happy with it :-)
