Well shave #2 was with my Gold OCMM....Everything was fine on my cheeks but mustache area and chin was very tuggy...I slipped a new GEM SS in and it was that ole 'Hot knife through butter' thing again... Tomorrow I will try a Royal in one of my 1912's...See ya then...

Well it's tomorrow....Today I dropped a new Royal SS in my GEM Cutlery Damaskeene....Super smooth, effortless...no tug, just glides...3 passes later....hmmm, still need to shave...Need to recheck this 'Dammy'...Dropped yesterday's new GEM SS into the Damaskeene and yep...'Hot knife through butter...1 1/2 passes later BBS....
I'm not sure what to think....I like the feel of the Royal Blade today but it didn't reduce enough whiskers during my whisker reduction efforts..... I still think theres some hope....I'm thinking its probably a matter of finding the right razor....It doesn't shine in the OCMM where I like a super sharp blade....The 'Damaskeene' is too mellow for it.....maybe my ER 1912 or G Bar....Will continue to check these bad boys out...the price is so great, and I haven't had a 'BAD' experience with them yet....I'm still thinking they could be cool in the right razor....I remember how finicky and blade sensitive my DE razors were...and the day before yesterday my shave with the ER 1924 wasn't bad, I might try that one again tomorrow with todays blade...Ciao for now...

Well, I tried to get Shave #2 with yesterday's blade in my ER '24 today....Half way through the first pass, I swapped over to a 3 day GEM Stainless Coated....Man, the GEM is just too sweet to go back to the Royal....If the Royal was my only choice I wouldn't hesitate....But the GEM SS's and Treet Super's are just so GREAT! The Royal reminds very much of a GEM SS on shave #6 or #7....or the Treet Super one shave passed change time...But I have stretched it out when I needed to and I would use the Royals under the same circumstance...
Thanks Fuzzy for sending these...I've had a blast trying them and will use them all eventually...And thanks for the pack of PAL Supers....I'll try one of those for the first time tomorrow....I'll report back here, as it will be my Maiden Voyage with a PAL blade and I'm excited....See ya then...Ciao for now...

Looks like I'm pretty much the only one accessing this thread, except for a little support from my man Shawdowsdad.... So I'll wrap it up.... The original Royal Stainless Coated package said to compare them to the GEM SS Coated....So..... Royal 1st shave= Day 6 or 7 with GEM SS Royal 2nd shave=Time to Change with GEM SS Because Fuzzy was so hip to send me a pack of PAL Supers to try..... WOW !! Day #1 with a PAL Super in my GEM Cutlery Damaskeene 1912....Never had a better shave than this! I'm weak in the knees...lol This is another one for the books! I'm really looking forward to checking out the longevity of this blade...But however many shaves this blade is good for....I want to go down on record as ABSOLUTELY RAVING about today's shave experience.... I was going to try and do a comparison of the Royals and the PALs but these Carbons in this Dammy is just another whole incomparable to anything else kind of thing....ha,ha,ha...Except maybe to the Treet Supers which are in a class to themselves aswell...

I just wish they had worked for me. I was hoping that they would and wanted them to. I have 3 left and no takers. Wchnu give me your address and I'll send them. They don't work for me and they do for you, so...
Has anyone found any information about them yet?

I'll tell you....after trying these PALs, I'm thinking I don't want to use anything other than carbon anymore....I'm going to be moving Stateside in about 3 months, probably the Seattle area...I hope to stockpile PALs and Treets then...in the mean time where's the best place to order these PAL Supers? Amazon doesn't ship to Turkey...I've used them in my ER'24, OCMM, ER'14 & Damaskeene. Every shave has been just about perfect...

.....Wchnu give me your address and I'll send them. They don't work for me and they do for you, so... Hey Brian, I appreciate the thoughtful gesture, but the International postage would be much more than the blades are worth... And to tell you the truth after experiencing the PAL Supers, I'm not sure they did work for me...lol... I'll tell you....after trying these PALs, I'm thinking I don't want to use anything other than PAL's or Treet Super's...I still like the GEM Stainless Coated blades too, but a new PAL or Treet is certainly a nice way to spoil myself. I'm going to be moving Stateside in about 3 months, probably the Seattle area...I'm planning to start stockpiling PALs and Treets then...in the mean time where's the best place to order these PAL Supers? Amazon doesn't ship to Turkey...I've used them in my ER'24, OCMM, ER'14 & Damaskeene. Every shave has been just about perfect...The bar has been moved up again...TOST is responsible for the bar moving up so much I need to raise the ceiling in my shave-cave...lol.
