I am always grabbing a cap/hat whenever I go outside. It is usually one of my veteran caps. Or one of my son's Navy caps (USS Gerald R. Ford) Or I will grab this one for yard work. Cool pics Sir Jay!! That Bucket Hat could be a real ear saver on a super sunny day !!

Being a bald white guy, I wear hats if I'm outside for any length of time. Usually a baseball hat, but I like wider brimmed hats for fishing.
My secret love though is a bowler. I'd love to wear a suit and bowler ala John Steed from the Avengers. I was born 40 years too late I think.

It is sad to see that as a dying custom. I think a well fitting suit looks better than anything.

One does not have to spend lots of money to dress well, just attention to detail. Making sure to wear good stuff cotton shirts, and ironed trousers. I find sometimes, just dressing "one step" above the average person does much for one's own self esteem. I could probably write a blog about "dressing sharp" but I'm sure it wouldn't have much interest. Suffice it to say, I only own 2 different brands of dress shirts, Brooks Brothers, and Edwin Taylor. (All bought off the rack at Goodwill and salvation army) In Texas however, any "outfit" looks much better with a good cowboy hat as a bonus!

Thanks Fuzz....I'm trying to think.....I'm not sure, what you mean by a Be-Bop Dog...Let me know pls...I'm giggling over here trying tk figure it out... My guess, is you mean "very intelligent, and sophisticated" Am I right? This guy is a good looking pup, and pretty well behaved...but not exactly the "sharpest knife in the drawer" 😜😁🤣 So maybe he is more of a "Top 40 Pup" than a "Be-Bop" dog....😁😁

I miss our Rottweilers, all of them (why is the keyboard getting blurry?). Unlike your dull knife, ours were the equivalent of maybe 3 year old human children in brains. One would even play hide and seek in the woods. Seriously. He could never quite figure out that we could see him through the conifer saplings, but we played along with him.
Oh, nice hat.

My last dog was a Rottweiler....she house broke herself as a small puppy. I agree, very much as intellegent as a small child, but better behaved....(than most)...One of the best, smartest dogs I've ever seen.... The only reason, the pup in these pics is very smart, but is a little mixed up....He is owned and raised in a house with one human. Said human is a great person, but doesn't present the Alpha role model dogs need, when growing up. That house has no Alpha...so the poor dog is mixed up....I've seen that proplem before...Dogs need a secure environment to grow up in, and feel safe, and trust the human to protect them. I know your pups were provided that. They deserve it, and it allows them to develop emotionally aswell as intelligently....
