Had a fine bowl of Escudo again... The Gasparini pipe was already exorcised of any ghosts of the previous aromatics and the flavour was even better than the first. Seems that I've found my goto baccy.

Seems that I've found my goto baccy. Excellent! For someone who is uninformed, what does Escudo taste like to you? The tin note has a very nice fresh hay/grassy scent. The smoke is sweet and smooth but the Perique spiciness starts tingling in the nose a few puffs in, and I love it! It burns a bit more slowly at first compared to the aromatics that I was used to, but once it gets going it's a very consistent burn through out. The only con that I would make would be that I get some gurgling from this tobacco which I associate with it being too moisty. I let the coin that I smoked yesterday dry a bit before I packed the pipe and that improved this a bit. Had a fine bowl of Escudo again... I ordered some Orlik Golden Slice and a dark Orlik this morning. I have had the OGC thanks to Bama Samari. The other will be something new.

I’m considering a vapor genie, anyone ever used one? Never have tried any of those. There is a vape shop beside my favorite cigar store. The kids from there are always taking up the parking...grrrrr.

Had a good bowl of Evening Cordial from 4noggins. Was in a sweet tooth crave and that hit the spot. A cherry/chocolate blend on my cob pipe.

I have some cherry and a cob coming with my order from pipes and cigars. $2 could not resist. I am not big on the aromatics...but everyone likes cherry.right??

Had a small 45 minutes car trip and smoked a nice bowl of Frog Morton’s Cellar. Great English type blend with Latakia smokiness and the added flavor provided by a piece of wood from an old whisky barrel inside the can. The Latakia is more tamed than the Vintage Syrian Latakia that I have and the sweetness of the whiskey is a nice addition too. Great stuff!
