I like the Micromatics. A lot. The Clog-pruf is numero uno, the open comb is numero twoo and the Flying Wing is, uh, numero threeo in order of preference.
And, they beat Gillette by several years with the first TTO, so they should get some credit for that alone.

Hoosier Trooper,
I'm bidding on various clog prufs and wings to see if I like 'em near as much as my Open Comb Micro-MAGIC.
I'll let ya know when I get 'em.
SE are so cheap I love it!

sssssssHHHHHH! (whispered) Don't tell folks that!
We have this forum all to our own, and a really inexpensive source of fantastic razors, why do you want to ruin that?
BTW, I've been noticing starting bid prices on ebay going up. Get 'em while they're reasonable IMO.
John, I've been watching what you're looking for and I see lots of great prices. You're safe, I have what I need. Let me know when you're done. I'd like another mint OCMM, but I don't want to bid against you. I'm in no hurry, I really don't need another, just upgrading my stable and I'll get rid of the others.

It's the Bullet tip (sorry but I much prefer the colloquial name) and Clog Pruf for me, in that order. Didn't get on with the OC at all. With the exception of a Streamline or Jewel I can't think of a DE or SE for that matter that comes close to the plating and construction quality of MMs, so "Junk" really can only refer to it's shaving qualities as experienced by a few (one actually). Maybe we should in future refer to him as MM (maniacal marsupial) Possum and just sit back and watch the rage.

Might Obstreperous Curmudgeonly Maniacal Marsupial be a tad better? Or OCMM Possum for the acronym.

Still not sure how were going to write a novel out of this. Just saying. A NOVEL - INDEED Dawn was as yet a mere suggestion as the seeds of morning light planted themselves stickily behind his drowsy eyelids. As the obstreperous curmudgeon began to stir, deep within his mind ancient visions danced tauntingly. Visions older than his country, visions older than it’s first peoples, visions older in fact, than him. Amidst his dreamy stupor in a world of confusion nearly as cinema-like as that world in which he lived daily, he glanced quickly to the right of his dream screen. Ever so near, yet massive in its proportions, he saw the scythe like prehensile tail of an animal so hideous, so gruesome, so entirely otherworldly, that even in his blunted sleep he began to fear a fear so vivid that his sleeping slab slowly began to moisten. The creature lurked in the shadows of his dusty thoughts. Suddenly the monster burst forth a sound so eerie that the dreamer shortly began to shake, to shudder, to agitate wildly about the bed in his own moistness. His turbulence didn't seem to slow. It didn't seem to lessen. Rather it began to grow. As his tossing began to peak it had finally manifested during his sleep to such a point that his ritual rest was no longer what one could consider restful. It had become a rest that was perhaps more aptly described as awakening during one’s own violent demise. He thrust the covers aside as he rolled achingly out of his bed. The vision of the hellcat was vivid in his mind. Surely it could not be a real creature. Surely it was not of this world. Surely it was not.... could not...........must not be.......a POSSUM!!!!!! Immediately he struggled to carve the visceral thought out of his straining mind. He would not let this ghastly visual montage push him again. He could not let it grab hold of his waking mind as it had so many times before. He said to himself 'I must not give in this time!!!!!'. 'NO!' Running quickly to the bathroom he felt he must throw himself immediately into a simple chore. He longed for something to distract his mind, something that would wrench him from the hideousness that was this most painful mental repast. He knew he must do something that was familiar to him. 'A shave' he thought. It was a ritual he had repeated often. It was one that gave him great solace, a practice that often wrought an inner peace so pleasing that he longed for the gentleness that it would surely bring this day. He drew open the cabinet door and eagerly teased through the various creams and savons that he so secretly had enjoyed many times before. He picked one out and placed it carefully on the counter. Then gingerly, he fingered through the various blades he had recently been testing. Some were as sharp as the wit of a Global Moderator. Others were somewhat dulled from their explorations of his scratchy stubble - explorations from previous experimentation with mechanical razors from days gone by. ASR? Personna? Gem? Perhaps a teflon coated blade might do this day. It was indeed the one day in which he desperately needed this familiar ceremony to save him from the still palpably painful visions of the hideous creature he had seen in his earlier sleep. Ignoring the wetness of his sleeping clothes, he moved next to consider his selection of razors. As he did so his mind began to dull. It seemed he could not make sense of what was before him. The confusion was becoming as ripe as the bunions which risked bursting forth on his decrepit marsupial toes. He shook his head aggressively hoping that his cognitions might correct and that he might begin to comprehend what he was seeing. But he simply could not understand what was happening. He was unable to clear the pawl that had begun to close in on his consciousness. What he saw there on the razor shelf was quickly beginning to push him past his earlier fear, and was propelling him ever more violently into near delirium!! A panic had set in so deeply that a scream began to form in the back of the curmudgeon's skull. As the sound found voice it shaped itself into a behemoth that was so primal, so wrenching, so inhumanly ghastly, that the mirror itself began to palpate like a violently thrust aside bowl of jello. The shining surface was now roiling like a heavily disturbed sea, propelled ever forward by the crescendo of the death like scream!!! The mirror finally burst forward in a dazzlingly brilliant tempest of flesh flaying daggers!! The last thing that flashed through his crippled brain was nothing less than that which was his most feared reality - 'THEY ARE ALL MICROMATICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!' A novel indeed. (Sorry Possum - It just fell out of my aging brain. No offense I hope!! I don't even know if you have toes. Just for fun!)
