Hey Man... Just Today I popped a B20 in my I2 Hydro-magic and got probably my best BBS from that razor since I ran out of NOS Schick Plat-Plus's...
I had forgotten how efficient an I2 used to be!!! }8^)) I'm in Love again...
I do get great shaves from that razor with my Personna Re-brands but not THIS BBS! I might not need to shave tomorrow! But that's how I remember these Hydro-magics shaving back in the old days when you could pick up platinum pluses at the Drug Store...}8^))

But in all fairness to the Personnas (Pella/EMS's)....I don't notice much difference between the B-20s and the Personnas in most of my injectors. Especially my Schick Simplified Automatic C3 repeater...That razor just loves the re-branded personnas. But with my milder injectors like my I2, the Pro-line blades are a noticable standout...As are NOS Schick Platinum Plus's...
But that's the thing about the I, J, K, and L type Schicks. When they were on the scene, the blades were sharper...and you also had Twin Injector blades...and Plus-plats were the norm, not to mention Personna 74's...So back then, no one thought of those Schicks as being all that mild...}8^)
So these Proline B20's are great for putting the Teeth back in some of the milder Injectors!

I’m going to have to place an order for those B20s. I’ve used Personnas, Personna 74s, and Chicks and don’t really notice a difference in my daily driver Schick I1 but damn it my curiosity has been stroked.

Couldn't agree more! Love the B20s in my J and L, I think they really enhance the performance of these razors!

I don't remove a blade until I'm done with it, so stainless is all I use. I am aware that the old rusties are what was originally used in most of our vintage shavers, but I don't need to be that authentic. To be authentic most razors would need a blade without slots,.. just a rectangle with one sharp edge.

tobyc, I agree with you. It's GEM SS ptfe coated for me until long after I kick the bucket. At last check I have something like 3 lifetimes worth of those blades. I love to shave, I hate blade maintenance.

Different strokes for different folks. It's our differences that make the forum work, aka YMMV. I still get a chuckle when I see your avatar.
