Tabac Tuesday's ShaveProraso Pre Shave Tabac Jayaruh #289 Superior Lather Catcher CVS Carbon Steel SE CWS Thayer's Peach WH Barbasol AS I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #289 brush. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Monday Night 5/21/18 - I have not used my SUPPLY (JET BLACK) with the medium plate in quite some time. This is a nice shaver (as long as u get the unique angle correct)

Tue 22nd May Omega 11126 Speick Active Schick Type N1 Schick Proline [ 8 ] Tuff Red A/S Lotion Today I used another Type N, this one fitted with a single blade, the N3 yesterday was fitted with a Twin blade. The one thing they had in common was that though the Shaves were smooth and comfortable enough, the quality of finish indicated that the blades had seen their best days. May well load this one with a Twin and use it while away for a few days.

Greetings Wednesday 23rd May 2018 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM OCMM Blade: PAL Super Carbon Brush: Yaqi 26mm Synthetic Soap: DR Harris Windsor Aftershave: Simple Moisteriser EDT: Le 3e Homme de Caron This brush arrived yesterday (8 days from China) the knot is 57mm X 26mm and it has a rather large glue bump of 10mm making the effective loft 47mm. I choose this brush because the few reviews that I could find suggested it splayed easily and it does. I need to use it a bit more before passing full judgment but it does feel nice, a smaller glue bump would have allowed more flex of the knot which for me would have been a little better. The handle is for my taste rather heavy and thick but this knot was available with no other handle. Regards Dick.

Wednesday 23rd May Zenith 506U TS Haslinger Honig General Brass Feather Pro #4 Alum Wash Old Spice A/S Dove Instant Hydration Cream What a great performance from this combination. I'd like to hope the reformulated non tallow formula is as good as I really like the honey scent.

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Vie-Long 14846 Badger/Horse Soap: Stirling Spice Razor: Ever-Ready 1912 Blade: Gem Blue Star Post: Cold water rinse, Old Spice ASL I'd lost count of how many shaves were under this blades belt. I thought it was two but it tugged a bit, so I think this was the forth. All said and done, it was a mediocre shave. When in doubt change the blade is what I take from that. Happy Shaving one and all.

SOTD: Razor: I describe this as my "backwards LatherCatcher" since the lather catcher opening is usually underneath the sharp edge[img src="https://i.imgur.com/fPOTFZc.jpg" src=" " alt=" "] of the blade, and on this one it's underneath the back of the blade. Anyway, today it's mounted on my brand-new Jayaruh ivory colored handle, which I was thrilled to receive! Cream: Simpson's Vanilla Rose cream, one of my all-time favorite rose scents A/S: St. Charles Shave Rose aftershave balm brush: Vintage Ever-Ready "Lucite" handle in which I installed a TGN Finest badger knot. imgur.com/Sr2sbns
