Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: WDC-8, Maseto 24mm 2BF Soap: P&B Spitfire Razor: Schick Type L1 Blade: Chick Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Pashana ASL As my last shave was only about seventeen hours ago I thought the L type would be up to the job. On this occasion I wasn't wrong and the Bank Holiday weekend got off to a lovely start. The warm scents of Spitfire and Pashana were just right for this damp and bleak looking Saturday morning. On that cheery note, I wish you all a great weekend.

That is a very interesting razor, Dick. I do not recall seeing it before now. Maybe I was not looking. I will have to do a search.

Those lather catchers are great razors. I have a Gem Junior 1907. I want to get a Junior Bar now. I have the 1902 Kampfe Star but really don't get on with it. With the Gem I wonder how much difference the bar makes, it would be interesting to see a direct comparison to the 1907 I have a 1902 and had a Gem JrBar. I find them to be extreamly mild. They delivered fine shaves. I however prefer feeling the Blade, more aggressive razors are my preference. You cannot beat the killer looks of the lather Catchers.

Thanks to you and others at TOST, my friend, I now have four of them.

SE Sunday's ShaveProraso Pre Shave Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #289 Superior Lather Catcher CVS CS SE CWS Thayer's Peach WH Barbasol AS I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #289 brush. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
