Tom's No Name SE Razor Gem Blue Star blade/Gem Stainless blade WD Silver Tip brush VeraSoapCo Peppermint SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Jason's Aloe Vera balm St James of London Mandarin/Patchouli cologne
This was an interesting 1st flight with the TNNSER razor. I loaded the Blue Star blade but did have some trouble doing so but didn't this much about it except I was being clumsy (not uncommon any more). Well, I buggered up that blade and it really hurt when I tried to use it. Blood all over the place. Immediately stopped (not stupid) and treated the wounds.
Still needed to shave so grabbed a Gem Stainless and loaded it into the razor. Relathered and tried again. Success! Smooth, easy shave that went well and I look great except for the bloody spots. However, since the first blade hurt a lot I think I will not shave until Monday. Now go enjoy your day folks.
BTW, the VeraSoapCo SS is most excellent. Locally made, I would match it against anything I've used to date and it would win or at least tie. Great stuff.

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Omega 11137 Boar Soap: OSP Bay Rum Razor: Cobra Classic Blade: Schick Proline P Post: Cold water rinse, Boots Bay Rum First use of an OSP soap and it's right up my street. Everything you need in a soap and then some. The scent profile is also excellent, heavy on the bay, with the rum coming through in the background. I'm now looking for a suitable splash to go with it. Happy Shaving one and all.

Fri 13th July Omega 11137 MWF Alu.Hawk/Windrose Handle Schick Proline [ 1 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion Have just had a 5th Shave with an AC/SE Razor this week.I seem now to have developed the light touch needed to get these Razors to Shave without causing problems. In fact this Budget Razor was not only smooth and comfortable, but the quality of finish was superb.

Saturday 14th July Yaqi Sagrada Familia - Herbs of Bulgaria - Lavender cream - General Steel - Schick Proline P #7 - Alum - Superdrug Forest Fresh A/S - Dove Instant Hydration Cream Lovely lavender scent from this cream which gave a great background throughout the shave. Also an honourable mention to the Superdrug Forest Fresh A/S, which finished the shave nicely.

Sat 14th July Vulfix 404 Vitos Super Red Mongoose B3 Feather Pro [ 1 ] Alum Rub/Rinse off Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion My first use of a Feather Blade in a while, As I seem to have a preference for Schick Prolines which I use in AC/Ses but also in my Injectors. As a fresh blade was in use I chose to use the Vitos, as it lathers so well. The Shave went very well until I sustained a couple of weepers on the chin, the first in ages probably I had underestimated the sharpness of the blade and got a bit careless. A quick application of Alum solved the problem and there was visible evidence remaining, will be a bit cautious in future Shaves.

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Vie-Long 13052 Horse Soap: Boots Shave Stick Razor: Gem HFT Blade: Gem Stainless ptfe Post: Cold water rinse, 4711 ASL I like shave sticks and this one has a few fans in the U.S. and yet until now I haven't tried it. Why not? It's three and a half times dearer than Palmolive that's why, and I suspected it wouldn't be as good as Palmolive and knew it wouldn't be three and a half times better. Well, it is pretty good, a nice clean inoffensive soapy smell, decent cushion and slickness. It's no Palmolive but 50g of decent soap in a nice plastic travel tube for less than two quid, I'm not complaining.
