Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Vie-Long 13052 Horse Soap: Boots Shave Stick Razor: Gem HFT Blade: Gem Stainless ptfe Post: Cold water rinse, 4711 ASL View AttachmentI like shave sticks and this one has a few fans in the U.S. and yet until now I haven't tried it. Why not? It's three and a half times dearer than Palmolive that's why, and I suspected it wouldn't be as good as Palmolive and knew it wouldn't be three and a half times better. Well, it is pretty good, a nice clean inoffensive soapy smell, decent cushion and slickness. It's no Palmolive but 50g of decent soap in a nice plastic travel tube for less than two quid, I'm not complaining. Glad you liked it. I love this stuff!

After a few non shaving days I had to shave for work this morning. It was a great first shave with a Schick B1. Zero issues and a high class DFS with the Soap Commander and Semogue 1305 leading the way for the Barbasol Pacific Rush. These ole razors just shave great!

I did two passes with the Gem 1907 Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sun 15th July Razorback Syn 22mm Speick Classic Cream Schick F Schick S/S Single- Japan [ 13 ] Tuff Red A/S Lotion Though the Shave was leisurely enough I knew from the off the results were not going to be good. The first couple of passes quickly showed that the blade was past its best, but I completed the Shave without mishap and settled for a sub par finish.
