I just did an order from Amazon. I ordered Pal, and treet from them. One thing I will say is this, if you order from Amazon, make sure to read the description of the blades. I almost bought 100, since it was a multi pack lot. If I can find the link, I will post it.

I get the treet local. I can also find them on ebay. I can tell no difference to the CVS blades by accutek. (I might not be spelling that right). The PAL Super is a favorite but harder to find these days. Do not let the unmentionable blades stop you from trying their SE blades. You will probably like them!! --OS was here

I expected much more rust,... is this normal?

(Moved to Blade world by -OS) Personna and Treet (unmentionable)blades are unremarkable at best. The Personna GEM SE blades are my #1 blade, and, thanks to the Fuzzman, Treet carbon steel SE blades are my #2. ( Moderater was here) DO NOT try the carbon or stainless Feather SE blades, they take garbage to a whole new level!!!

Kinda weird,I had my order of treet blades arrive today. I'm planning on trying them out first tomorrow. I personally like the PAL blades especially in the 1912. I've been lucky enough to have had some sent to me, as I can't seem to find a lot of them on either the bay, or Amazon in a price I want to pay. I'd like to try the Ted Pella one daynas well.
I recently did a trade with another member here and was able to acquire some vintage blades. Not nearly as sharp or as smooth as what we have now.
I wonder if it brand specific when it comes to the vintage ones, or if it is even worth trying to strop them?

I have a couple of the SS ptfe coated things. I will get them to you.

I have been looking for a good blade source as well. My Walgreens was my only local source and no longer carries GEM SE blades. The off-brand they have leaves a lot to be desired. I am struggling to find good SE and injector blades locally so I have no other option but to go online. Where do you guys find the best blades for the buck?

I get the multi pack lot of Treet blades from amazon, however a member her has an etsy store that sells the GEM blades in 100 packs, as well as injector blades as well. I expect he will be along soon to give you the link, most of use use him, great price and quick shipping. However, if you are in a crunch for some blades, pop me an address and I'll send you a pack of the CVS stainless steel pack. I can still find them locally, ad they are good shavers. It is the CVS house brand label, but are made by accuteck.

IMHO, totally useless with modern SE blades. I saw no discernible difference in the blade whatsoever. And in the event that the honing angle wasn't spot-on, the blade severely degraded in sharpness. Now, bring a Rolls blade to the Norton and Naniwa hones and you've got a horse of a different color! I can tease out a WICKED edge on a Rolls blade when honing it outside of the case.

Thanks for the generous offer. I'm not in a crunch yet, though. Just trying to get ahead and source something since I can no longer buy local.
