I have fished a few bass tournaments, and done ok. It's not my favorite way to do it. I had much rather get into a school of smaller fish, and catch a bunch, instead of only catching one big fish all day. Honestly, if I never caught another one, I'd be okay, as I've moved from catching to teaching. Been taking the 7 year old nephew when I can, and letting him catch them. I have learned this lesson: you can go fishing, or you can take a kid fishing, but you cannot go fishing, with a kid. So true about fishing with a kid. From where I was fishing from shore yesterday a boat with two dads and their kids came by. The dad's could not have fished if they wanted to. Endless questions and things to do. Very cute and that's how it should be.

Addicted to catfishing all my life and still fish about 3 days a week---one lake 1 mile away and second 6 miles away. Fish mostly for large Channels and flatheads, I do fish for blues in Ohio River system. I have even named my boat Catillac Catillac - nice. River fishing is what I enjoy most, but a lake with cats is great too. Not many lakes with cats here. There are a few. I wish there were more and cats would do well in them I think. Most of the lakes near me are OVER populated with tiny sunfish, bluegills and the like. The cats would eat up a few of them and the ones that escaped would grow bigger since they didn't have so many other sunfish to compete with. At least that's how I see it. I'm going to be out as soon as the river quits flooding.

For sure, I wouldn't trade it for anything! The grin on his face, ear to ear says it all!
We even fried em up, and after me telling him they were chicken, he ate em.

Hi! I'm a fishing enthusiast too. Though in here where I live there are few places for fishing, the climate itself is not very good, so you have to go 100 kilometers in one great place for fishing, where I relax with friends. I think that this Saturday will go there for 2 days. i already got everything ready, bought a new fishing tackle and bait fishinggearforbass.com, and look forward to this day. The main thing is to get my friends out of this city! I usually could care less if I catch fish. I just need the time away

I usually could care less if I catch fish. I just need the time away I just like to fish, take pictures with trophies and let her go. I'm not a barbarian. I am. I let the small ones go. Love fresh fried fish.
