Ever Ready 200 B&M Cologne Russe Eversharp H1 Personna I took the Hussy out on our first date and she does not disappoint! The only other injector I have used is the L1, which I found disappointing, but the H1 is very different. Great shave, smooth and efficient.

Ariana & Evans | The Equestrian APShaveCo. Elegant Emerald | SynBad 24mm The New Improved Schick Injector Razor | Personna 74 Polo by Ralph Lauren (Cosmair) Much like Phoenix Shaving's "Han Polo", Ariana & Evans' "The Equestrian" aspires to pay homage if not duplicate the original 1970s Ralph Lauren Polo which was a Warner distributed product until the mid 1980s. Again, like Han Polo, The Equestrian does a remarkable job complementing Cosmair RL Polo, but it doesn't quite duplicate it. It may very well come closer to the earlier Warner distribution, but I don't recall much of a difference between Cosmair and Warner in the early years, but admittedly, it's been quite some time since I had a Warner bottle. That said, to my nose, modern RL Polo barely resembles the '70s to early '90s Polo. For clarity, The Equestrian is a clean green vegetation blast followed by a damp and respectable herbal accord with a leathery tobacco dry down. All things considered, it's much closer to the classic Polo than the modern iteration, but it is a bit brasher and spicier. The differences become less apparent during the dry down. When I compare PAA's Han Polo splash to that of The Equestrian, I detect no appreciable difference apart from the brief color of the splash ingredients that's more so in The Equestrian. I've previously spoken of my impressions of Ariana & Evan's tallow base ad nauseam. Every aspect of this soap is near perfect and as such this is among the best soaps money can buy.

Gem blades. Only SE I've tried The Gem PTFE blades are by far my favorite, but I do occasionally get a rough one. A quick palm strop works wonders. Starting out with SEs, when I used a razor with a fair bit of exposure, I routinely palm stropped the blade (3-5 times, each side) before using the blade the first time. Settles it down nicely and made for a very different experience. Some people use denim or cork, but my palm is just right. Let me know if you need some guidance in terms of palm stropping, or you can probably find a YouTube vid demonstration. It's about an 8 second procedure. You better be carefully with that....Razor-x told me awhile back, that too much 'palm stropping" can affect you eyesight! 😉🤣😅

June 15th -- First AutoStrop Shave..... All I can say is "wow"! Put a brand new GEM SS PTFE (de-spined, but untrimmed) blade in, and 3 passes plus a slight touch-up and I was baby-soft smooth without a hint of redness, irritation or blood. Given the potential harshness of a first shave with the SS PTFE, and the "rugged" beauty of the AutoStrop B2, I thought I might be in for some issues; but it was a mild feeling shave with extremely efficient results. Absolutely LOVE this razor!!! The pics below show the razor and the Arko in my DIY deo-container; but no brush (which was the 24mm Yaqi Purple Haze Mew Brown Synth) and the after shave (Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum). p.s., the Arko is explicitly marked so it doesn't actually get mistaken as deo by the lady of the house.

Nice job on the Arko. I put mine in an old Arm and Hammer container.

I don't put ARKO in anything, cause I don't have any. Congrats on the 1st AutoStrop Shave, that's my favorite Autostrop setup by far, a GEM SS PTFE and any Autostrop I have that the blade will fit in, which is right now my B1, VB1 and two VC1's.

Thanks, I am definitely an officially an AutoStrop-addict....I've got a late-model A1 on the way -- really looking forward to it's arrival!!! As for Arko -- it's one of those high-value (i.e., inexpensive soaps) that just "works".

Sat 15th June RazoRock Plissoft 22mm Lea Classic Soap ATT SE1 /Windrose handle Schick Proline [ 6 ] Lea Classic A/S lotion Out today and a bit late so the choice of an ATT SE1 was a good one. It has to be my best AC/Se razor, as it without any problems removes growth from all areas being shaved, whereas other razors might be not so good to use in all areas. I think I may treat myself on Fathers Day and use again.

And my money says you're gonna LOVE that incoming A1. I'M Crazy for mine.. I believe these early Auto Strops are definitely one of the elephants in any shave cave lucky enough to house one!👍👍😉. GAISMAN was a genius on so many levels!! I want a Gaisman/Auto-Strop tee shirt!! And we just can't say enough good things about Arko, for me. For the first seven years after I rediscovered TWS, Arko was the only soap I used.🙃👍 And I love the DIY Deo container treatment here. I did that with a Williams cake and an Old Spice Deo-Dispenser👍👍...Besides being a pleasure to use...It works great for traveling aswell! You've got so much of what I love about shaving going on here!

SE Sunday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Vintage Life Licorice Jayaruh #271 Synthetic Ever-Ready Lather Catcher Pal CS SE CWR Florida Water My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #273 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher razor with a Pal CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
