Wed 11th Dec. Omega 11126 boar Williams Mug soap ER "Streamline" Gem S/S [ 4 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion Today I used a "Streamline" which is one of my favourites. It is a Razor that demands concentration during a Shave, but by doing so you are rewarded with a nice close Shave. The little boar brush I used today was very effective with the Williams, and quickly whisked up copious amounts of creamy lather.

A good Thursday morning to you
Razor- Oneblade Brush- Vie Long White horse Soap- MDC vetiver sample - this stuff lathers if you look at it wrong. I have to load the brush for much less time than my other hard soaps or I end up with enough for a 10 pass shave. Balm - Dr Carvers.

Thursday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Arko High Performance Shave Cream Tom's 3D Printed Brush Supply V2 Personna CWR Lilac Vegetal My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Arko Shave Cream face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Supply V2 razor with three dot plate and a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Lilac Vegetal After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

ER 1924 / BRW Improved handle Gem Stainless PTFE 2 Semogue BC Mistura Stirling Electric Sheep Dr. Sana Alcoholado
Since tuning the spring tension in the head, I have been getting fantastic shaves from the 1924. It is a little less harsh and I haven't been nicked by a blade corner poking out from behind the stop. Two passes with a bit of buffing along the jaw line for about as nice of a shave as you could want. Enjoy your day.

Excellent, I'm glad that simple adjustment cured the problem, there wasn't anything else on the ER 1924 that it could have been other than a bent frame. I ran into the same issue on a 1924 a while back where I noticed the blade was at a slant with one end of the blade not quite under the blade stop hooks and floating loose in the frame on that end.

Thanks. Me too. It really is a nice shaving razor.

I played around with 2 different unmentionables today but finished the shave with my Henkels Rapide. I stropped a Treet super with the handle from my Gem Jr. Bar and noticed a little improvement but ended up switching to a 7th use Gem SS PTFE the results are quite nice. This razor is especially good for shaving the back of my neck where it can be hard to reach with some razors.

December 12th I love Superior 70. Enjoy.
Unfortunately the store across from my work stopped carrying Superior 70. They replaced it with Dr. Sana which is close but not quite the same.

Thur 12th Dec. RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Citra Royale ER 1924 -Windrose handle Gem S/S [ 5 ] Tuff Green A/S Lotion I like both the ER 1914/ 1924 as they deliver good quality Shaves. However, I prefer the 1924 fitted with a longer handle. I really enjoyed todays Shave which was smooth and comfortable, and with a great lather I had no problems attaining a good close all round finish .
