Monday's Shave HOT!! Shower-Whisker shampoo and conditioned Arko Shave Stick/Omega 10029 Baby-Pro Ever Ready 1912/Gem SS d3 Old Spice AS
Man...I just don't know what to say...Each time I shave with this razor it gets better & better... Today's 2 1/2 passes left me with a OCMM type BBS....I'll take it!!
I did the same sort of skin stretching I would do shaving with my shavette...1 WTG, 1 XTG and 1/2 ATG where needed...a little razor buffing here and there (this 1912 is the cat's meow for razor buffing). Stop,Check,Please...irritation free...better than Barber Shop finnish...I could get use to this...

Greetings Tuesday 30th April 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Micromatic OC Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Semogue OC Boar Soap: Cella Aftershave: Astral Cream (light) Ultra close shave from the OCMM as always. The Cella is part of my usual rotation and I like it a lot, I will however not replace it when it runs out as there are many other soaps I like more and I already have too many. Regards Dick.

Tuesday 30th April 2013 Prep: Hot!! Shower Razor #1: Eversharp-Schick Hydro-magic " " #2: GEM Micromatic OC Blade #1: GEM Stainless d4 " " #2: EMS/Personna d3 Brush: Omega 10029 Boar Soap: Arko Aftershave: Old Spice Today was a tough one... my throat whiskers had a 'Terminator' thing happening..indistructable After 4 passes complete with much razor buffing, that actually brought some weepers,my whole face was pretty clean but my throat and under chin I could feel patches, couldn't see but could feel.. Now I'm getting PO'ed, normally this is when I would break out my shavette for a clean-up but decided to give my new OCMM a shot at the 'Gold'...2 quick effortless XTG passes on the Jaw-line and throat and BBS was achieved...I love this Micromatic more each day... Greetings Wednesday 1st May 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: Ever Ready 1924 Shovelhead Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Vulfix 404 Mixed Soap: Klar Kabinett Aftershave: Astral Cream (light) Super shave. A friend on another forum very kindly sent me this sample of Klar Kabinett and this is about the third time I have used it and I like it. It lathers up very easily and seems to provide a good slip, I like the subtle/gentle rose scent it has. A really nice soap and when you can get it here in the UK it is cheap which also appeals to my frugal nature! Regards Dick.

Greetings Thursday 2nd May 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: Ever Ready Streamline Blade: Gem Stainless Coated Brush: Vulfix 620 Boar Soap: Wilkinson Sword Stick grated into a container Aftershave; Astral Cream (light) A harsh uncomfortable and less than pleasant shave, but a superb smooth result. Am I the only SE shaver on the planet who can not just pick up a streamline and shave with it, something I can do with ease with every other one of my SE's. The only time I have ever had a really pleasant shave with this razor was when I took Marcs advice and used it for seven days running, towards the end of that week it started 'coming together' I just find this razor difficult, the streamline and I will never, I am sure be on 'best friend' terms. Regards Dick.

Regards Dick. Hi Dick! I completely understand what you are saying. I definitely find that I get better results with my Streamy when I use her more frequently. However, I've not really had a harsh shave from her either. Biggest thing I notice if my angle is off is that I leave some stubble on my neck, just under my chin ATG. I do find that the guard bar on the Streamline is a bit different than any other razor I've used. I also find that I use this razor by keeping the head much closer to flat on my skin. If I drop the handle too much from this position then I can not only leave stubbly but also have some irritation. My OCMM on the other hand tends to do better when I lower the handle a bit more than other razors. I hope you get it soon and develop the muscle memory that will allow you to just pick it up and go for an amazing shave.
