MATCH Revelation (match to House of Windsor Revelation) in a Missouri Meerschaum Cob (Apple Diplomat) I bought this MATCH Revelation blend because the original is said to be one of Albert Einstein's favorites. Well, I thought, maybe it could spark some genius in me as well!

Just about to start a bowl of G&H Best Brown #2 Flake, gently rubbed out in a Peterson's Smooth Kildare 999 bent Rhodesian. I needed a change from the Grousemoor plug, although I am really enjoying it and it will go on the "to buy more of" list.

As I understand it, all of Swans matches are now sulfur free and are not "strike anywhere matches". At £1 for 4 boxes they are cheap enough and I find them "nicer" to use than lighters ( although I do still use a lighter now and again).

Started the Day earlier with a bowl of Rattrays Hal O the Wynd in a Straight short stem Falcon fitted with a smooth Genoa Bowl. Just Fired up a bowl of G&H Kendal Best Brown #2 Flake rubbed out in a filtered Bent Falcon international with a Smooth Algiers Bowl. I will probably stick with the Brown Flake today.

Yesterday I enjoyed Haunted Bookshop while doing business in town, then a Wicked Indie from East India Trading Company (think Ghurka). Some cedar with sweet cream, and general tobacco goodness.

Haunted Bookshop driving to a lake, then a Filthy Viking. Mild cedar, varying level of sweetness, and perhaps leather.

Cracked a tin of Ashton Artisan's Blend with Syrian latakia. One of my favorites.

Breaking in the new Large Falcon Smooth Dover bowl in a bent Standard stem, half filled MMS's Gentlemans Choice. It's a large pot this one. I got a new bent international with this pot for just under half price, it would have been rude not to. T

Today I decided to prep the Samuel Gawiths Cob plug. I was a bit wary when I opened the trial Ounce, a solid bar of Blackness! It cut and rubbed out easily enough and I cubed some of the last bit. 1st bowl I used a Falcon international, filtered, fitted with the Genoa bowl. I enjoyed the smoke, cool, plenty of flavour and a good Nico hit, luckily I did not inadvertently inhale any (a downside to cigarette smoking) it would have wrecked my chest. No relights and it burned all the way down to ash. This could go onto the buy more list, I will see how it goes, however, if the 1st bowl is anything to go by, it's a yes from me. Cracked a tin of Ashton Artisan's Blend with Syrian latakia. One of my favorites. That sounds awesome!! Enjoying a mild spring afternoon off work. Just a Walgreens Blenders Gold to smoke. Not to shabby really. I have a Punch Diablo for later.
