Is that brush as huge in person as it looks in the picture!? No it is not actually. It is a smaller handle and knot then most of my brushes. Almost inline with a travel brush. I like the way the handle feels in my hand though. Easy to hold on to. In way of comparison it is less then half the size of my Dubl Duck #5. As far as cleaning up.. welll the tax refund came in so what better to spend a bit of it on??

It's probably the handle that makes it look so large.
Yeah, I bet it's easy to hold onto! If it's a small brush I bet it's absolutely awesome!

I only have the one OC like this one - but I am beginning to appreciate it more and more as a shaver.
Nice case on this - it reminds one of the Red & Black NEW gillette case which was probably out around the same time.

I will get some pictures. They come in green white the maroon and black you have and brown. They do have the blade cases in them. All four of mine have them intact. I love these sets.

No major coup, just an order I've been waiting for from The Italian Barber. I suppose I should have taken a picture.
a kilo each of P.160 and Cella (smells like candy) (correction below) A puck of Mitchells Wool Fat and an Omega 10019 boar brush.
The soaps just because. The P.160 because I don't want to run out until I'm senile and I won't know what I'm shaving with at that time; this kilo should last for awhile. The Cella because I never used it before. Same because for the MWF.
The Omega because I had 7 brushes which meant that as I use the brushes in order I'd always use the same brush on the same day of the week. Now with 8 brushes that won't happen and all will get used in it's turn. Plus, IB had them, I don't have an Omega, and for $8, I'd have been a fool not to get one since I was already paying shipping. A boar brush for $8! Unbelievable.
It's already had it's first lather and maybe I'm just lucky but this makes 8 brushes and no funky smells from any of them. Or maybe it's because I have animals. I dunno. For the next few weeks or so I'll be using that brush every day until it's broken in.
Cella correction: It turns out I was only smelling it through the plastic wrapper. I thought I had it exposed. It reeks! Yes, of almonds, but of something more as well. I'll withhold final judgement until I lather with it. Candy smell, definitely not.

That IS a heck of a deal for $8. Can't blame you a bit. I've been getting guys at work into wet shaving and keep a loaner kit out at most times. I had about given up on boar brushes and was just going to stick to the badger but then I got an old antique store boar brush back from one of the guys and thought I'd try it out just for kicks. Apparently it's well broken in and worked great! So now I'm USING the guys at work to break in my new boar brushes for me BWAHAHAHAHA! Yep, I loan them the new ones and they unwittingly do the break in FOR me.
It's diabolical -- but not as diabolical as giving all your crap blades to your wife to use -- evil grin

Yup expensive is not alwaysbetter. I have also learned over the years to put friends and family to good use at times. Not sure I'd use the wife to get rid of blades though ....... She might figure it out eventually. Then again maybe that is why I have sn Ex-wife.
