I really want the GEM blades by Personna in bulk. Which number from Ted Pella would be closest to this blade?

Here was the response:
We regret that we are no longer shipping razor blades to private residences. Since UPS and Federal Express are leaving their packages by the front door when nobody is home, the danger is that children may open the package and hurt themselves.
Much regrets.
Best regards,
Ted Pella, Inc.

I had heard about that. They required a signature at one time.

Those are industrial blades.. made for tools..window scrapers and such.. would not want them myself. Fuzzy, Do not let the term "Industrial Blades" mislead you on these. Just pulled my box of Pella SE blades out of the drawer. Box looks just like the one in RB&M link including the Industrial Blades. Have been using these blades for over 2 yrs and found them to be the best SE blade I have ever used. Thanks for that info. I withdraw my comment on them then.

If they won't ship to a residence just find a business you can ship to. You can create a business at the drop of a hat. All it takes is a name and someone to be there to accept delivery.
I leave a note on my door for FedEx, that if I happen to not be home (someone always is) to deliver the package to my neighbor. Between us someone is always available to take possession of it.
But if they're tightening the screws maybe it's time to get a few hundred more and never order again. It sounds like a shavepocalypse of sorts to me.

That's weird because I just received a shipment from Ted Pella last week, at my residence, with nothing but a signature. Strange!

Shhh! Be vewwwy vewwwy quiet, there's wabbits!
I never had any problems with TP either, but I'm going to make sure. Blades are inexpensive to stockpile. I will never use carts again! Ever! And I'll never order again.
It's time for a lifetime supply. Let's see... y x 365 / s = n
y= years of projected lifespan; figure to the + [that is, 30 more years, whatever] s= shaves per blade n= number of blades required
OK, so it's an excuse for BAD. But there it is in mathematics.

FWIW, I just purchased a mess of blades from Ted Pella and we'll see what happens.
It's no big deal, it's something I was planning to do anyway.
Did I mention that, "I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO USING CARTRIDGES?". I meant that. I prefer SE, but DE will do; either way, "I'll never go back to using cartridges. ". Period.

I said that one time as well. But in the last 4 years I have gone back to my Gillette Fusion about 5 times. Only in an extreme emergency when I needed a very quick shave and only had time for one quick pass. Worked well enough to get a passable shave. Did use my usual prep, cream/soap and brush though. I assure you that someday, like me, your time will come. Just do not post a SOD that day! ;D

Well, it might happen, but in order for it to happen I'd need to go out into the shop and climb a ladder to get into the obsolete shave gear. I still do have the handles and maybe 10 cartridges. Just in case I travel by air. When I meant I'd never go back, I meant permanently. As in, "no blades available" so I need to use carts again. I placed an order for blades last night and got the call this morning. The lady I talked with told me that part of her job is to check and see if the folks ordering the blades have some sort of "need" for them. She googled my name, found my website and was actually calling to tell me how much she enjoyed reading it. So yes, I suspect it's possible that someone may be turned down for a blade order. Anyway, I won't ever need to reorder. I'll be dead long before I run out of blades.
