I normally buy on ebay, and recommended sellers? Thanks.

Being in Canada my experience wouldn't be that useful for you. I did have a friend go down to Cali where the Ted Pella distribution center is so I had him pick up some Pella blades in person! Other than that, shipping to here often ruins the party for us so......

I buy from Ted Pella. The last time I bought 200 of his 121-3 blades (GEM SS ptfe) it was $50 with FedEx charges. The blades are very good and for $.25 per I can't complain.
There are even less expensive blades on his site that John is going to test.

I have a good supply of Treet and PAL blades local. I pick up a few pella's here and there mostly from shave buddies.

What are your thoughts on Treet and PAL? I have only used the brand from Walgreens but that supply is getting low.

I try to buy all of my blades locally. Luckily I have stores in my immediate area that sell Treet, Gem Blue Star and CVS blades, as well as Schick injector blades.
The Treet blades are my favorites, the few PAL's I've tried were unusable. I've come to the conclusion that the Treet, Blue Star and CVS blades are the same blade.

When I was buying my blades locally (Very expensive!) I found the CVS and Rite-Aid blades to be good, but they're carbon steel and require special attention after the shave. I never did try Walgreen blades which are supposed to be the GEM SS blades. I don't know if they're ptfe coated.

Got mine from Pella - split an order of 400 with out forum founder DIrving79 a couple years ago. Still have over 100 left and I plan on stretching those out for at least 1.5 times the number of shave I have been using them for.

In Australia, the only option as far as I know and the only one I've used so far, is ordering PTFE blades from Ted Pella. If I can get them on line somewhere, I wouldn't mind trying carbon steel blades but the whole drying, keeping moisture out and stuff doesn't really entice me too much.

Still shopping. I have a question though, it was brought up on another forum and thought I'd bring it to the experts. The GEM blades by Personna found at Walgreens...are they the same blades found here?

Well, he doesn't say. That's why I never ordered SE blades from him. They could be the right blades, then again, maybe window scraper blades. I would suspect not, but the info on the box can't be seen. The reorder code is wiped out by perspective on the side of the box . My TP SS ptfe coated blades show a "re order code 62-0165". But it can't be seen on that box. Ask him for the reorder code. FWIW, I live as far from Ted Pellas operation as one can live CONUS, and that's what I paid per 100 blades as part of a 200 blade order, with shipping included. I like Razor Blades and More, but for ? blades (he doesn't say) you'll pay the bulk price (shipping included) with additional shipping from RB&M. You'll pay shipping twice if you get my drift. That's still far less expensive than buying from a brick and mortar store, but not the best deal available. Every Christmas so far I tell my wife to buy me blades (which I keep having to order for myself- poor me!) . It may seem that 200 blades is a lot, but if you buy and sell razors, you'll include razors with every outgoing razor and that digs into the stash. If you do that, 200 blades is nothing IMO. Maybe I'm strange, but when someone buys a razor from me I don't want them to hunt for a great blade, I include a bunch of 'em w/o charge.

Still shopping. I have a question though, it was brought up on another forum and thought I'd bring it to the experts. The GEM blades by Personna found at Walgreens...are they the same blades found here? Those are industrial blades.. made for tools..window scrapers and such.. would not want them myself.

Fuzzy, Do not let the term "Industrial Blades" mislead you on these. Just pulled my box of Pella SE blades out of the drawer. Box looks just like the one in RB&M link including the Industrial Blades. Have been using these blades for over 2 yrs and found them to be the best SE blade I have ever used.
