SE Sunday's ShaveProraso Pre Shave Williams Mug Shaving Soap B-400 Henckels Rapide Henckels Wedge CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Pinaud Vanilla I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the B-400 badger brush. I did two passes with the Henckels Rapide Razor with a Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Well, this was my last shave for the Wedge Pass Around, and it was a very nice one, indeed. The blade was very smooth and I ended up with a great two-pass shave. I stropped it 50 times. I cleaned both razors with my electric toothbrush and dried them with a towel. I have repackaged everything and included a little surprise for zykris . I printed a label and have it all ready to go out in the mail. But, tomorrow is Presidents Day, so it will not go out until Tuesday. OH, NO! Be patient, David, it will get to you. My thanks again to twhite for this generous pass around. I have some great pictures and nice memories now, and now I am on the lookout for my own wedge razor.

Tonights shave Razor: ESF Rapide Blade: CV Heljestrand wedge Brush: B-2 2 band finest Soap: Secret formulation @americanshamrock AS: British Sterling Had a Fantastic 3 pass shave tonight. This soap is magical. I don’t shoot for BBS. I do 3 pass no cleanup. What I get is what I get. Tonight everything came together for a BBS I will take it. I must say when a wedge comes together, I think it is the best shave there is. I will be rubbing my face the rest of the evening. Have a safe and happy week my friends. Tom

Sunday morning dayshift 25°outside shave. Time for the Dirty Bird Scuttle. The Musgo Real cream is just awesome. Thanks to corto for the cream and Alan (who is missing in action again) for the aftershave. I think this is the first use of this baton handle 1912. It is marked Brooklyn inside and GEM Junior on the back. I noticed it is like my favorite bakelite handle 1912 except the junior is smaller on the baton handle one. The GarnerPW III maggards synthetic brush continues to work great! Dude... That's warm

SOTD January 12, 2018 Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Treet/PTFE Razor: GEM G-Bar Brush: Omega 10049 boar Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave WTG, touch up Friday! This is my traditional Friday software combination. I started off with a Treet blade but it just didn't feel right. Felt a little rough and I wondered if I buggered up the edge somehow when I was drying it and storing it the other day. So I switched over to the GEM PTFE blade to finish up and all was well. Mystery about that Treet....not sure what happened. In any case, a great shave was had in the end. Enjoy your day! Is the Fat a favorite? One I have not used. Yes, Mitchell's Wool Fat is a soap I'll always have in my den. Protective and moisturizing. Some say it's finicky to lather but it's not.

I haven't found a soap I cannot lather. I think some people have problems because of the quality of their water.
