Tuesday 18th December Jayaruh #289 - Chinese Cologne Soap - Schick G1 w/Jayaruh Handle - Schick Proline B #6 - Alum - Superdrug Forest Fresh A/S - Dove Nourishing Cream This soap has always given me great results. It produces a lovely creamy thick lather with ease. It has great residual slickness, which is a feature I particularly like. It's transparent and also melts easily. In fact there are two tablets in the above tub. So I'm assuming it being glycerine based. There were no listed ingredients, which I suppose is a negative. The other positives are, it is quite inexpensive, it doesn't leave much residue in the sink, and it is not drying post shave.

Glad the dammy is working out for you!!!glad you are enjoying it, sometimes I get on a dammy kick and I am never disappointed. How do you like the Treet blades vs the stainless steel blades? Arko is a great performer at a great price point as well. I REALLY like the Treets. They feel smoother than the SS PTFE blades right out of the box -- takes my PTFE blades at least a couple of shaves before they feel "right". I've got a pension for knives -- kitchen knives, pocket knives, field knives, even a few "tactical" ones -- and my preference tends towards a higher carbon content in the steel. You have to maintain them, but I found they keep an edge better/longer and are not all that difficult to sharpen. That said, my SS PTFE blades tend to give me at least 10 two-to-three pass shaves before feeling harsh/tuggy; and I've read some comments from folks that say they get fewer shaves from their carbon blades than they do the SS/PTFE. I suspect technique, number of passes, blade maintenance and even lather/soap may play a role in blade life. So before I go and clear out every source of Treet blade within a 30 mile radius (just kidding, Fuzzy -- I'll always leave 1 pack on the shelf ), I want to get a sense of their longevity for me. Great inputs and observations. Thanks for sharing. What's a good Cheap online sources for this blade ? I've some 200 gem ptfe blades. If I cap a blade at 10 uses - they'll last a really long time.

As efficient as the SE2? Nope. More enjoyable shave? Yep. Noticeably milder than my E2 but way better handling, not to mention the coolest design ever.

1912 Gem Brit Treet blade (2) Copper Hat soap stick( Lumberjack) Dickinsons WH Aqua Velva Ice Sport JR # 241 synth aka gunslinger I have got to comment on the "gunslinger" brush: that....is....COOL! Seriously, that shape is brilliant! It's the first one I've seen like that, it is undoubtedly an original -- and the gunslinger name is perfect!

I started doing a little looking around online when I realized how much I was enjoying the blade, and Amazon would be my choice/source. Specifically, if you search for "Treet Super Single Edge Wrapped Razor Blades 12 Pks of 5 in Each" a company called Pharmapacks shows the 12 packs of 5 blades (60 total) for $17.09 with free shipping (to the U.S.). That works out to 29 cents a blade. Ah Pharmapacks ! Thank you so much for such a detailed response and source details. Pharmapacks has been my online source for the cheapest Williams soap as well . They deserve the order of the TOST !

Here at TOST our only comment about online sources is that we have no comment. --OS
