Gem 1912 Treet blade-day 4 Vintage Menthol Williams Vintage Barbershop brush Nancy Boy cooling aftershave gel
This is one of the mid-20's 1912's with the shorter handle and convexly concave head. Very nice results, and the Nancy Boy gel is a nice change.

Good Saturday morning Gents!
Hot towel face prep Vitos SIS Semogue 610 boar (gotta get it broken in) GEM 1912 GEM SS ptfe (7) Bay Rum
I'll get just as tired of writing "Semogue 610 boar" for the next month or so as you will to read it. But I'll be using most every day to get it broken in.

Early Sunday morning.
Gem 1912 travel razor PAL D-4 Ever Ready 650PB The Body Shop (old formula) Pinaud citrus musk
The travel razors work great also. I stocked up on this cream before they stopped making it. Still one of my favorite creams.

Happy Super Sunday! Or whatever. ;D
Sunday, February 5th, 2012
Pre-shave preparation: None, because I was going fishing, unless you consider coffee a pre-shave preparation, in which case I was all over the Maxwell House right there. Tell you what. Razor: Ever-Ready 1912 Blade: PAL SUPER BLUE SINGLE-EDGE BLADES!!!! (OK, they're not really that special, but a "super" blade with a blue tint on "Super Sunday" when both teams have blue in their uniforms with 1912-patent razor in 2012? What's not to like about that?!) Brush: semi-custom, elk-antler, Grizzly-Adams-mountain-man-type-lather-application-apparatus Soap: D.R Harris Marlborough Aftershave: witch hazel (Kind of anticimactic, isn't it? Maybe I should have used WD-40 or Power Bait or something.)
First shave with one of those PAL blades. Kind of dull and disappointing. But then I went fishing, so that's a plus.

Tuesday
1912 Gem Junior Treet D-2 Omega Boar Williams (older in Marvy rubber mug) Stetson AS Stetson Cologne
This is a razor from one of my G3 sets. It is different from the others because it has a slim black metal handle. Not my favorite one for some reason. It just does not feel as good on my face.
