I believe you're correct on the Triumph, and it is a really nice shaver.

Good Friday mornin' gents!
Hot towel face prep Vitos SIS Semogue 610 boar GEM Jr w/ornate handle (same head as yesterday) GEM SS ptfe (9) Bay Rum
I dion't think I'm even a full 2 weeks into break in on this brush and it's pretty darn fine right now. If it gets any better I don't know if I'll be able to handle it!

Top o' the mornin' to you gents!
Saturday morning:
Hot towel face prep Vitos SIS Semogue 1438 boar GEM Jr GEM SS ptfe (10) Bay Rum
Today I thought to measure the temperature of the water I use for face prep; 129°F. Sometimes my water is hotter than it was today, so 129° is pretty much the low temperature that I use.
I'm really coming to appreciate the Jr. . It's Goldilocks' porridge, just right; not too aggressive, not too mild, for those days when I just don't want the challenge of an aggressive razor, yet want a 2 1/3 pass BBS.

Sat Feb 11 Brush: Omega Boar Soap/Creme: Poraso green Razor: Gem 1912 Blade: Gem SE Pre: Poraso Pre/post Post: Poraso As Balm. Hair Groom: Wildroot Result: BBS., as I often get with my 1912, but the preshave really helped reduce irritation to basically zero. I'll try this combo again for sure. I expect that I'll be breaking my 1912 out a lot more often, too, with this sort of result.
