Sorry to be a copycat but I also opened the month with an open comb Damaskeene. Seems appropriate to start the month with the 1912 frame that started it all! Treet blade Vintage Williams from the Glastonbury plant Vintage Erskine brush Vintage Old Spice cologne

Not a copy cat at all. That is the best razor to start the show. Also that is an awesome brush.

Wednesday morning:
1912 month here in Maine too! What a small world!
Hot towel face prep Vitos SIS Rooney 3/1 SS Gem Damaskeene CC GEM SS ptfe (4) Bay Rum
As usual from this razor, an excellent shave; close, and comfortable.
Guys, is the OC Damaskeene more aggressive? If so can you compare it to another razor? TIA

Friday morning shave:
(I couldn't post until now)
Hot towel face prep Vitos SIS Semogue 610 boar Gem Jr w/ recessed thumb tab Gem SS ptfe (6) Bay Rum
I had to test the Jr with the recessed thumb tab. If it shaves differently from yesterdays with the smooth tab, I surely didn't feel it.
Todays shave reminded me that there are so many fantastic razors and so little time. Also that I never want to go back to boring shaving ever again.

Saturday Morning shave
1912 Gem Junior Baton handle Gem Stainless VDH Boar C and E Sandalwood Smells just like Brut AS
I have noted that not many people use Brut. I like the scent from the smells just like I get at the dollar store. Some of the knock offs are good stuff. The Crabtreea and Evelyn soap is excellent. Thanks for reminding me that I had it Rocketdood.
